San Diego Bay Jet Ski Rentals — Attraction in San Diego

1 Hour Guided Tour then 1 Hour Personal Rental - A perfect day from start to finish. I arrived in the morning and was greeted by happy, upbeat members of Staff who where ready and eager to show me a good time. I watched a 5 Minute safety video which was very informative , signed a few bits of paper (Normal in California) and all ready for action. Our Guide then led us down and gave us a few extra pointers whilst sat on the Ski's and explained was in store for our 1 hour tour. Easy brief - Basically be safe and have fun. Off we go!!!! Moving slowly out of the Harbor (No Wake Zone) taking about 8 minutes and then your tour begins (Just enjoy looking at all the other boats in the Marina, wishing you owned one !!) We went to about 4 areas of interest, all fantastic, (Ill mention 1, the rest is for you to see when you book your tour!) The one place I must mention is going to the Seals / Sea lions at the fisheries. they swim right next to you and is a very calming. Smells lovely. FYI You Ski in formation with the guide at the front like a flock of Geese. It doesn't matter if your a complete beginner an expert, If your an expert in a beginners group just enjoy speeding around playing on the wake of others whilst the newbees catch up. OR you try and arrange getting on a tour with others of similar capability. Our guide gave good class /group consideration ensuring everyone was looked after, informed and felt involved. After the Tour I had one hour to blast around, I enjoyed that too. I nearly bit it a few times but the phrase "Confusing Ability with Ambition" springs to mind. - you control your speed but its best to power through the waves if choppy. You are safe, you wear a Life Jacket, You must take your mobile, (Plastic water proof bag Included) and plus there are always people around in other boats that would gladly help if in a pickle. Take suncream and a small bottle of water which you can store in one of the compartments. Lastly a personal thank you to Gail and Bruce - Managers / Owners that have honored my gift voucher which was over a year and half old. Personal problems prevented me from using it but when I eventually got the chance they welcomed me with open hands. Great people, great family - GREAT TIME...

This is by far the best jet ski rental company that I have rented from in all of San Diego. I have been renting jet skis for the last 17 years from la Jolla. All the way to Coronado, and I have tried many companies, but San Diego Bay Adventures is by far the best experience I've had. All of the rules and guidelines are clearly written online before you rent, I did call because I had one additional question prior to renting and was met with very friendly service. Upon arrival the man who greeted us was really kind and warm, almost like a family member. The check in process was quick and easy to understand what is and isn't expected of you on their rentals. We appreciated the complimentary wet suit. Once we were on the skis, and we were getting our final instructions, the young man that was giving the final instructions had amazing energy. He made it fun to listen to and kept us engaged. The skis themselves are in great condition and great quality. We had so much fun and then when we came back the staff still treated us like family by offering hot cocoa, loaded with marshmallows and a slice of spiced pound cake. It's seriously felt like my Oma was greeting me home after a long day of working. This company is extremely hospitable and it was a pleasure doing business with them.
