Pet Food Express — Attraction in San Francisco

Well unfortunately I wasn't able to experience this place... due to there very rude,inconsiderate staff...My husband and I decided to take our dog for a walk one day and of course I had to stop and use the bathroom and we also had to bye dog food so we figured we could kill 2 birds with one stone.Mind you I'm almost 8 months 🤰. So usually It's never an issue for me to use a public bathroom being that I'm about to pop!people are usually nice and at most stores the staff is happy to let me use the bathroom weather I'm buying something or not! But the staff here was absolutely horrible.i left crying with a full bladder and my hungry dog..we couldn't shop around and get any food because when I asked the man if i culd use the bathroom he said " our bathroom is only for our customers " and started to walk away..I was in shock!! I said "okay that's fine I am a customer" he looked at me like he was lost for words then filly sys "well you have to bye something first" and stormed off!!!! I WAS HUMILIATED,IN SHOCK,MY TUMMYMY HURT CUZ ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS PEE AND MY FEELINGS WHERE JUST SO HURT,I COULDNT BELIVE HOW PETTY THIS MAN WAS BEING..HE WAS SIZING ME UP LIKE I WAS GINNA STEAL SOMETHING....MAKES ME NOT WANT TO GO OUT EVER! Do NOT order pet food to be delivered from this company. After spending 40 minutes ordering and waiting a few hours for a delivery the WRONG items were delivered.

Delivery done by no English speaking person. What an absolute mess!

I have had a recent hip replacement surgery and this was phenomenally complicated and handled in a poor manner. I live alone and my apartment is up 30 stairs.

Patrick in customer service COMPLETELY lacked ANY empathy skills. Just now I spoke with Lindsay, the supervisor. She thought it made up for the whole mess to give me one free can and not charging for delivery. I would be embarrassed to offer a customer a single free can. As a mediator, I found her reply to my comment about not offering anything meaningful for all of this inconvenience, to be genetic. "I'm sorry you feel that way." I would have spent over $50 but they were out of stock.

Workers seem attentive and are available as you need them. They are polite and friendly. This place is small but the range of different services they have going on here is totally awesome. They have daily vet care and its affordable, they have animals to adopt (mostly cats i've seen) working in conjunction with SFACC etc. The store has a closed private area for those interested in adoption where you can spend time and interact one on one etc. I believe they even have a DIY pet washing station so you can bathe your furry friend there yourself for very cheap. having worked at a Veterinary hospital for many years I can say that unfortunately I've witnessed aggressive short tempered groomers treat the animals very cruel. It's appalling and animal groomers are not regulated by any real means. They do not have to go through background checks and licensing requirements nor is experience required. so the DIY dog bath...
