The observation floor was spectacular! Even though it wasn't a clear day, we were so high up, we could still see everything!!!! We also took the gondola to their park, which is also very nice. They even have a Starbucks at their park, also very nice!!! The frustrating part I had was making the reservation itself. Being Salesforce, you would think they would have a better way of securing spaces, let me explain. I received an email saying they have some last minute openings and can have 5 guests. But you need to put all their names, place where each person is from, email, and select a time. I did this immediately because I knew it was first come first serve basis and was still not confirmed until I hear back. So I submitted what they asked only to find that it was not available for that particular time slot. I tried again, for a different time slot and none were available. Next, I started eliminating my guests from 5 to 4, and went through the process of submitting for each time slot, but still was not available. So, I kept eliminating my guests at the same time checking all time slots until I was finally able to submit for 2 people--- myself and one other person, and was lucky to secure the 3pm time slot. This was so frustrating 😡. I was contacting my family/friends who would like to come so I can put their names, emails, etc (because it indicates no changes in names after the reservation was confirmed) only to find out that I was not able to secure 5 spots. Originally when I signed up (it's been so long I think it was early or mid 2019) I signed up for a girls outing. There are 4 of us and I thought this would be fun. When I was only able to secure 1 guest, naturally I chose my husband, who by the way, really didn't want to go. Anyway, he accompanied me only because he knew that I really wanted to go. I would have given this 5 stars if I didn't go through what I went through, because it is really an awesome experience. I encouraged all of my family and friends to sign up, hopefully they will have a better experience of securing more slots for...
Read moreWalking into Salesforce Tower (415 Mission St.) left me awestruck—even its lobby feels spacious, modern, and bathed in daylight thanks to full-height glass walls and sculptural lighting fixtures . Designed by César Pelli and completed in 2018, this 61‑story skyscraper—1,070 ft tall—is now the tallest building in San Francisco and the second-tallest west of the Mississippi .
What sets it apart is the Ohana Floor on the top level—open only for monthly tours or nonprofit events. The panoramic views across the bay, city, and beyond are simply breathtaking, complemented by a mix of greenery, casual seating, and warm, inviting design elements . While it’s not a public observation deck you can visit any day like in Chicago or NYC, those rare tour opportunities are worth signing up for .
The interior office spaces are equally impressive: modern layouts transition smoothly from collaboration zones to quieter work spots. Glass conference rooms with curved seating and ring‑light fixtures create an aesthetic that feels both sophisticated and welcoming .
Pros: • Iconic architecture and commanding skyline presence • Stunning 360° city and bay views from the top • Elegant and light-filled lobby and workspace design
Cons: • Limited public access to Ohana Floor (ticketed or invitation‑only) • Lobby and event bookings may be restricted to Salesforce-sanctioned activities
Tip: Try to book the free public tour of the Ohana Floor if available—midday lighting highlights the city best. Also, pair your visit with a stroll through the adjacent Salesforce Park for a refreshing...
Read moreSalesforce Park is a beautiful, 5.5-acre park located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. The park is home to a variety of amenities, including a large lawn, a playground, a dog park, a water feature, and a variety of seating areas. Salesforce Park is a great place to relax, people-watch, or simply enjoy the outdoors.
Here are some of the things I love about Salesforce Park:
The park is incredibly well-maintained. The grass is always green, the flowers are always blooming, and the park is always clean. The park is very dog-friendly. There is a designated dog park where dogs can run and play off-leash. The park is very kid-friendly. There is a playground with a variety of equipment, as well as a water feature where kids can splash and play. The park is very centrally located. It is located just steps from the Salesforce Tower, the Moscone Center, and the Yerba Buena Gardens.
