I used to love El Faro! It was my go to breakfast spot. They always had the best salsa and ingredients. That is until this last month. This last month has been a real hassle with all the pandemic related issues. (understandably) I have tried calling at least 30 different times and out of those times only been picked up 2 times. To make things worse I wasn't allowed to order two hours after they had opened because they said that they were not ready to take orders. When I was finally able to order after trying to order for 2 hours the only day that they decided to take my order, they took forever to make my food and I was the only customer there! It also made me feel really sad because it was not even close to how good it used to be. I say this with a heavy heavy heart but I don't think I will be returning anymore. Two years of going there every day and its such a shame that now they don't seem to care about the quality of their food or the service they provide to their...

Go there on the weekend only for some birria tacos that are possibly their most delicious items. Feeling like a philly cheese steak that's improved or a memory of a state fair cheese steak sandwich? Grab the steak and cheese torta and don't look back!
From nachos to dinner plates and even a shrimp burrito, you can't go too wrong here. I'm not necessarily a fan of the steamed tortilla but they're happy to grill upon request. Nor am I'm usually thrilled about their guac because it's a little thin for my taste. But I GUARANTEE once you taste their salsa you'll be hooked. You'll never look back next door for any fire or diablo sauce. Come grab an extra salsa that's laced with a hint of habanero and thank me later.
Enjoy a meal made with consistency and don't be afraid to...

The size portion and price of the super burrito was decent for the Financial District. It was definitely filling but not quite as big as other taquerias make it.
I’ll definitely be going back to try their Acapulco burrito.
Check them out if you’re in the...
