Westfield Oakridge Mall has been a part of my life for over four decades since my teenage years, but it's seen significant changes. In the past, we had better stores and nicer department stores, like Macy's with a wide range of contemporary and luxury brands. Now, the Macy’s offers basic styles and mid-tier brands, many of which are cluttered on rolling racks by the dressing rooms.
Unfortunately, all the designer women’s brand stores have disappeared, and now it's more of a neighborhood hangout for teenagers and high school kids. It feels like a downgrade, and if you're looking for something nicer, you have to drive to Valleyfair, which can be overcrowded, or all the way to Stanford, which is beautiful but quite a distance away.
The only standout for me at Westfield Oakridge Mall is Sanraku, one of my favorite sushi places. Apart from that, there's the usual mix of national chains, occasional visits to Target, and now the 99 Ranch Asian market, making it more of a place for errands than a shopping experience. It's not an ideal place for dates unless you’re looking for sports viewing options with friends at BJ, Slater 50/50 or Cheesecake Factory.
The mall selection caters more towards Gen Z and Gen Alpha. And it has a youngsters vibe with too many sneakers shops and young clothing stores. I wish management would consider older shoppers (Gen X) who can afford to live in the area and buy nicer products at this once cooler mall before Westfield...
Read moreOakridge Mall is conveniently located right off of Highway 85. It is a great mall for all ages and for people with different budget levels. This isn’t one of those malls where there’s so many high-end stores that there’s not many places that teens or lower income folks can shop at. The food court is fantastic. It has a Blondies Pizza, Cold stone, Shake shack, Popeyes, Jamba, juice, Hawaiin food, Noodle Pl., Taco Bell, Chinese food place. It’s got lots of choices. Throughout the mall you’ll find auntie Anne’s pretzels, 99 Ranch Chinese market and there a Chinese deli area, in addition to many Boba spots throughout the mall. The main stores at this mall are Target and Macy’s and if you need to shop for furniture, Living Spaces is also here too. This mall has many places for many budgets. They have an Hallmark store, Old Navy, Fanloli, H&M, Shoe Palace and massage place and nails place and so much more. In one day at the mall you can get beautified, get a new outfit, pick up things for your home in addition to groceries. There is plenty of surface parking and parking garage space and if you’re not interested in shopping, there is a movie theater you can catch the latest shows. Uniqulo store is now...
Read moreLet's start with The Cheese Cake Factory is one on my favorite places. I am used to going to Santa Row location. I tried to make a reservation but was unable to do so myself, because you must login and do it through Yelp. I begged to let them make a exception due to TMobile a towers being down. It was a no go. I'm spoke with manager after a while. He was nice enough t to make the reservation through his phone. This is what earned the 2 stars. Otherwise the experience verses price=not so good. The time it took to get out food was over a hour. The food tasted off.. not the norm...they didn't check on our table once nor did they stay long enough when dropping off food to see if we would like a refill or bread . The masses potato's where way over salted. I'm a salt lover, but these tasted like they were marinated in the Ocean. Last but not least my stomach started cramping a few hours after we got home and I sat in that bathroom untill 2am. 120.00 for 2adults 1kid 1desseet but not to be able to enjoy the food taste, service,or be able to eat leftovers due to getting assumed food poisoning. I'm disappointed in the whole experience. I will continue to support my Stevens creek...
