Parque del Indio — Attraction in San Juan

Decent local beach if you live in the area or visiting from somewhere else. Dogs aren't on leash, and dog walkers allowing their pets to defecate all over. Fecal matter on the sand which can cause viral illness if you're walking bare foot or lying down on the sand. Highly contagious ringworms are among what's transmitted here. The water is warm on sunny days and rocks in the water makes it easier to have cuts on your feet. The waves and rips can build up on windy days. Best with sandals and footwear, bring those beach chairs to avoid catching anything unpleasant. With the storm drain nearby, expect contamination in the water along this beach. Enjoy...

This is a wonderful spot! The park caters to a variety of ages! A sandy playground with climbing, big kid/little kid swings and a traditional slide structure. Additionally, there is a skate park area for young kids to ride bikes or older kids (and adults!) to skateboard. There is plenty of seating throughout. This park is adjacent to the beach too! Ok, so this is my favorite little park. It has access to the beach, a nice area for kids to play in, benches and chairs for sitting, and just a general chill vibe. People do yoga, practice kickboxing, kids skateboard. It has a little of everything. Definitely a neighborhood park but a good spot to meet friends at too.
