I used to be a regular client and really enjoyed the ice cream. Despite of high prices, the quality is great. However it receives a 1 star review due to the lack of their customer service. I came in today to purchase some pints (which are $12 each) and I decided to get some large ice cream in cones for me and my fiancé that was at home. I nicely asked to put both cones into plastic cups as I had my dogs with me and 15 minute walk in the 90+ degree weather to get back home. The manager/owner, who was in a back, refused to give me cups in order for me to successfully carry ice cream back home. When I asked for the owner/manager to come out so I can explain to her that I need a deep container and won’t be able to carry ice cream unless we put it in those cups- she refused to come out. I was paying $18 for the ice cream cones + $24 for the pints- and the owner REFUSED to come out and speak to me. The girls that scoop ice cream just kept on saying “we don’t make rules” … like WHAT rules?? You don’t make rules to help a customer that is about to spend almost $50 on your ice cream??? Well, that is very clear. The cups I was asking for cost 10 cents! I told them to charge me a dollar for these cups. Yet they were still treating me like I’m asking them to give me their overpriced ice cream for free. And still the owner/manager was hiding in a back when the situation was escalating. When I asked for the manager’s name- no one would give it to me. So after 5 mins me telling the staff that they can charge me for the cups, because I really NEED the deep cups so I can carry $18 ice cream home while having 2 dogs in the 90 degree heat. They finally decided to give me 2 cups (that cost 10 cents) for my $18 ice cream cones. … What a shame. The product is really great. And I was willing to pay their crazy prices just to enjoy quality ice cream. However business is managed and run by someone who clearly doesn’t know how to run it. Business 101: manager/owner should never ever be in a back of the house and always stay on the floor. And always be there for customers. And owner/manager should never refuse to speak to customers. And for high price point product they should provide exceptional service. So when I pay $8 for cone ice cream and $12 for a pint I would expect to get a cup (that costs 10 cents) if I ask for it. What I would not expect is to be treated so poorly as I was treated today after spending almost $50 at this business. Shame. Shame. Shame.

The store is hard to find when you’re driving because it is tucked between two buildings… Once we parked and walked we were able to go right to it. As an Ice Cream Expert traveling the country to find the best ice cream I can say that this place is hitting some good marks! Making their own ice cream in the back room is huge!!! Nice balance in the flavors! You have to hit this place earlier in the day because they will run out as the day goes on (that is unfortunate for people that come out later, maybe they will start managing that better). I really wanted to try the Pistachio but they were out. I did like the Be Mine (Red Velvet) and the Nutty by Nature! The Tamarindo was really good! It was like you were eating the real thing, Great Job! I am a big fan of the waffle cone and from all the reviews I seen online and the pictures it showed you had waffle cones. I was told that all you served was the waffle bowl, so I settled for that but, disappointed 😞 Hopefully you guys start serving those again. Keep making smiles with America’s favorite!

Cute home made ice cream shop! Unlike other flashy pretentious ice cream/gelato place that’s popular among tourists, the quality matched the price. The ice cream here doesn’t just taste like sugar/sweetener like many other places do, and they have interesting flavors. Because it’s not overly sweet, we were able to enjoy the ice cream until the end even after it started melting a little. We got guava cookie crunch and ricotta honey! I didn’t really taste the guava and the ice cream was a bit icy (bigger ice crystals) but they were refreshing and great. We make homemade ice cream using the commercial ice cream machine at home, so I noticed it wasn’t as smooth or creamy. I’m still happy we found this spot! Came back a few times and the quality is consistent.

I've been a loyal customer for 3+ years. I go to this place anywhere from 3-5 times a month. That being said, I didn't have the best experience today. After waiting months for a particular flavor to be available (Nutty by Nature - Peanut butter base), the scoops of the ice cream I ordered were very very small. When I told the employees, their answer was: "That's how they are served". I ask the employee to show it to the owner and they came back offering me more of one of the ice creams (I ordered two scoops). Moments later, I saw the owner showing them the correct amount to scoop. I went back inside for the restroom, and none of them (not even the owner who passed right by me), mentioned anything to me about it. To be fair, the ice cream quality is as good as always (the main reason I keep going). I just wish the customer service was up to par with the ice...
