Stumbled upon this place by mistake just driving around and boy we got excited!

Street parking is plenty available here as well as I think I saw a paid lot around the area as well.

The place is nice and the atmosphere is romantic as well as rustic as the name of the restaurant states.

I loved the fact that the wait staff worked together I felt like all wait staff of the restaurant took care of us, I loved the team work they had going on.

The wait staff was super wise on the menu and helped us to have the perfect meal.

COMPLEMENTARY BREAD- I always appreciate the touch for sure since I am a carb lover I got happy when we got the bread.

PROCIUTTO COTTO- we got a appetizer of prosciutto cottonmouths, very interesting cut of meat but none the less very delicious

SEAFOOD LINGUINI IN SQUID INK- I must say that this was the plate I was the most excited about, however I was a bit disappointed, I am a creamy sauce lover, when I saw the squid ink I could actually picture this dark and creamy sauce, the reality was a watery and sad sauce with a black pasta and some sea food on top. I did not like the taste of any of it, it was the one thing I came in to eat and the most disappointing thing we had.

MUSHROOM RAVIOLI- my bf got the mushroom ravioli it also had dates and some nuts. the pasta saved our lives. it was amazing. I gave up on the sea food and ink squid and took on this plate, this one I do recommend so make sure to order this plate.

so avoiding the sea food ink pasta the experience is much better. everything here was great from the place atmosphere to the meals (again besides the ink pasta) we loved everything.

I will probably come back to...

Apparently this establishment does not care to cater to people with melanin (color) in their skin. My daughter made reservations on Thursday, upon arrival on vacation in San Juan. We arrived at the restaurant approximately 10 minutes early on Sunday evening, party of 4 (dad and 3 adult daughters for my birthday)—all educated medical professionals. Eldest daughter went in to secure the table—3 of us waited outside door on sidewalk—about 5 minutes past, so I went in to find out what was taking so long. She told me that no one had greeted/acknowledged her. I could see that several employees were in sight that could have acknowledged her presence. I went to area (12 ft away) where they were and asked what was going on; reply, “we’re try to figure out which table to seat you”—several tables were available. I realized that that was a lame EXCUSE, so I went back to my daughters. A waiter followed and said to my daughter—you don’t have a reservation. My other daughters chimed up and said yes we do. So, another waiter tried to placate us by seating us at a nearby table immediately. We sat—a couple waiters began to set our table with place settings, but I couldn’t stay there. I’ve seen that type of blatant racism numerous times in my 60 + years and was not willing to...

We called at 5 in the afternoon to get a reservation, the place was booked full until 9pm apparently. We arrive there 10 min before our reservation, they tell us the.place is booked entirely (and it looked like 1/4 capacity for such a small place), once we specify we have a resevation they gave us a 4 person table. We were only 2. And our reservation was for 2. The server recognized me from a few years back and gave me a excellent table service. But,

They gave us stale bread as the complementary appetizer wich is usually served extra warm. The Duck Ravioly seemed more like a steamed turnover because it was either frozen, or not fresh and not boiled properly. The Porto wine sauce was delicious. The Linguine Al Nero di Seppia, had not one clam in it when the menu they gave us CLEARLY SAID IT HAS CLAMS IN IT (we've had it before). the Linguine looked like black curly fries with a really firm texture (definitely not al dente) No Tiramisu The local catch was pretty decent.

We've been here a couple of times and the quality of the dishes has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY. WOULD NOT RECOMEND ANYMORE.

NOT ONE PERSON CAME IN AFTER US. NOT ONE. NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON CAME IN AFTER US. WE LEFT AT 9.40 THE PLACE CLOSES AT 10PM NOT ONE SINGLE CUSTOMER CAME...

This place was amazing! We’re from NYC and have sort of high expectations when it comes to Italian food but really we are spoiled. What drew my attention here was their duck ravioli in a port wine reduction that was to die for. I appreciated the honesty of our server, Jessy who mentioned it was quite a bit of food we had ordered but we were ready to take on the task as it was our first vacation in quite some time. We ordered the salad to start to not feel “guilty”, then we indulged in the arancini. For main courses we shared the fabulous duck ravioli, tagliolini, and lasagna of the day which happened to be lamb and every single bite of everything was delectable. My only complaint is I wish the lighting was more dim to lend to a romantic atmosphere. But everything was just perfect. The glass of Sangiovese to pair with the duck. The Negroni Nero, and my husbands generous pour of tequila. We will definitely be back on our next visit down to PR. We loved it.

The restaurant looks amazing, it definitely has a beautiful vibe. I came to eat here twice while I was renting an Airbnb on top. My first day I had the best customer service with the best meal in the morning to start the day. My server help me pick the right meals, the right wine and and afterwards he helped me pick places to go and visit while I was in town for the Bad Bunny concert. I would honestly give this place a five out of five but the second day that I came back under a different staff everything was completely different. There was nobody when I went in there but they were such a lack of service from the beginning. That food was still amazing but I had to constantly ask the waitress for different things that she kept forgetting to bring. The pasta and the sauce are made from scratch and I do not doubt it because I saw somebody doing this in the corner of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place if you're nearby.
