UBLICpublished review 11/7/19 I RENTED A CAR THROUGH ORBITZ --UPON ARRIVING TO PUERTO RICO I WAS TAKEN TO A PLACE THAT THEY ONLY HAVE 2 CAR RENTAL PLACES CALLED NEXTCAR RENTAL WHICH IS THE COMPANY THAT I GOT AND ALLIED CAR RENTAL BOTH OWN BY SAME OWNER. I ARRIVED AT NEXCAR IN MARGINAL LOS ANGELES CAROLINA PUERTO RICO TO BE TOLD BY AN EMPLOYEE THAT THEY HAVE NO CAR AND TO GO NEXT DOOR TO ALLIED CAR RENTAL THAT THEY WILL HONOR MY CONTRACT. AFTER WAITING 3 HOURS I WAS TOLD THAT THEY ARE NOT NEXTCAR --WAIT I WAS CONFUSE BUT THE LADY ASK ME FOR THE INFORMATION AND CONFIRMATION I WAS LET TO BELIEVE THAT THEY WAS GOING TO HONOR MY CONFIRMATION, TO MY SURPRISE THE PRICE WAS JACK UP ALMOST 4 TIMES THE PRICE THAT ORBITS HAS GIVEN ME, AFTER COMPLAINING THE LADY BECAME A MONSTER AND I WAS TOLD TO LOOK AT THE LINE THAT THEY HAVE MORE CUSTOMER TO RENT THE CAR, I WAS IN A PLACE THAT I CANT GO BACK TO THE AIRPORT ON A MIDDLE OF NO MANS LAND,AND I WAS HUMILIATED AND TOLD THAT THEY DOING ME A FAVOR,I WAS FORCE TO PURCHASE EXTRA INSURANCE, EZ PASS ,AND A BUNCH OF EXTRA FEES,AFTER MY TRIP WAS FINISH I CALLED ORBITZ TO COMPLAIN AND I WAS TOLD THAT I NEVER SHOW UP TO GET THE CAR I EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPEN AND THEY REFUSE TO BELIEVE ME I TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT THE CAMERAS TO KNOW IF I WAS THERE OR NOT AND THEY REFUSE, ALSO THEY BLAME ME FOR NOT CALLING THEM FROM THERE I WAS TOLD THAT THE COMPANY WAS THE SAME OWNER THEY ALSO REFUSE TO VERIFY TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT THE ADDRESS OF BOTH PLACES IS NEXT TO EACH OTHER THEY ALSO REFUSE. WHY WILL I BE WILLING TO PAY 4 TIMES FOR A RENTAL CAR THAT I ALREADY HAVE RESERVATION FOR, ALSO THE CAR WAS GIVEN TO ME DIRTY AND A SMALLER CAR NOT THE ONE I RENTED. THIS IS A RIPOFF AND EXTORTION, ORBITS REFUSE TO INVESTIGATE THIS CRIMINAL ACTIVITY THEY ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM, I WILL NEVER USE ANY OF THIS SITES,ORBITZ,TRAVELOCITY ETC ALL THIS COMPANIES ARE OWN BY THE SAME CORPORATION AND THE CUSTOMER CANT REACH THE CORPORATE OFFICE TO COMPLAIN THE PEOPLE THAT ANSWER THE PHONE ARE NOT EVEN LOCAL THEY ARE IN CALIFORNIA OR THE WEST COAST.DO NOT USE ANY OF THIS SERVICES CALL THE AIRLINE DIRECTLY AND THE CAR COMPANIES DIRECTLY YOU BE BETTER OFF AT LEAST YOU WILL KNOW IN ADVANCE . Read moreMy family and myself had flown into and out of the San Juan airport for the first time. The airport was brightly lit and the signage adequate. Yes, there were many people especially at the airport because of the time of year and the lines were pretty long. Perhaps if they were better organized, they could have moved at a better pace. So yes h the wait was a little too long especially going through security, which is true at most airports unfortunately. Yet overall my experience on this vacation spot,was unique and truly amazing in lots of ways, we were able to discover Puerto Rico and view it, from the vantage point as seen through the locals eyes. We had a robust full sightseeing agenda planned, and if we planned to see lots of locations, we had to ensure we remained super organized. So yes everyhing was well planned in advance.We visited caves, waterfalls, local restaurants,ad well as those located a distance from our hotel.The choices were plentiful and overall they all served delicious and cheap food.Now of course we visited the Old San Juan area, the food wasn’t the only draw. Read moreDeplorable las condiciones turísticas de las Cavernas de Camuy. Lo único nuevo y bonito es el letrero de turismo. No tienen transportación desde "Maria" (sugun explican y entiendo que para eso son los seguros de dasastres) A un caballero con su espalda lastimada le negaron el transporte para regresar de la caverna y le indicaron a viva voz y sin empatia que tenía que subir caminando, lo vimos como se esforzo en tratar y ya casi logrando llegar no pudo más y se sento en el piso. Las facilidades con comején, la pintura se ve que lleva muchos años sin retocarla, la tapa del toilet rotas, solo tenia la mitad de la tapa, el pasto de las facilidades perdido sin mantenimiento y te cobran 4 dolares por auto y $18 por persona, los baños de los hombres ni mencionarlos, no bajaban y habia agua. El servicio al cliente 0 de 10. El guía turístico muy antipático con las necesidades de los turistas (pero al terminar tomo su tiempo de pedir propina) apenas hablo de la historia y los detalles del lugar que exploramos, arrogante y sin buen servicio al cliente, los cascos de seguridad sin higiene ninguna le aplicaban spray "feebreze" y lo entregaban mojados y sucios. En la caverna y el exterior el sistema de luz no servian nada alumbraba las veredas como antes. Llegas y parece que es un lugar olvidado, un sitio fantasma y sin condiciones. No se ve que trabajen para recibir con verdadero ímpetu y deceo de turismo a los turistas que nos visitan de lejos y los locales. ¿Donde estan las oficinas pertinentes para ver que las cosas buenas y el buen manejo funcione?. Es triste ver que no hacen nada bueno con los fondos. Sería interesante saber cuantos turistas llegan a diario y todos pagando $18 por entrada. Saber cuanto genera y cuanto se roba a quien va dirigido este dinero. Me avergüenza que esto pase porque tenemos siempre la esperanza de que las cosas mejoren. Y los fondos están, no digan que no están. Solo espero que todo el que lea esto lo comparta y de alguna manera llegue a oídos de gente que verdaderamente tome acciones.
