I like how customizable the rolls are and it is fun to watch them made but they weren’t very flavorful. Three of us had coconut in ours and none of us could taste it. We watched the ingredients go in, so it wasn’t the employee’s fault. (BTW, there is a review on here stating that she was rude, but I did not find that to be the case. Just because someone isn’t effusive and bubbly doesn’t make her rude. Each ice cream takes several minutes to make so you may have to wait your turn.) The shop was decorated in kind of old-time explorer theme, so that was cool and the AC was strong so it was a good place to cool off. We're in Puerto Rico for vacation. Stopped in to Himalaya Ice co. in Old San Juan because I've been craving ice cream rolls. The decor of the cute lil shop is cute, but the employees put a damper on the experience. The place was not busy, and they all literally look like they are ready to leave as if they don't like their job. The guy that made my ice cream, well let's just say I watched him from the side mess up on it a couple times. If I could give it 0 stars i would. We walked in looked at the menu. We weren't even greeted. The lady behind the counter was on the phone. I stood ready to order for a few minutes before she acknowledged me. My daughter fell off a chair (the back of it was broken) she didn't even ask if she was ok.
