Cashier was grumpy made my friend not only show identification for buying a bottle of wine. True my friends looks underage but she is nearly 50. I support a very firm stance on showing identification for purchasing alcohol yet to demand that my friend remove the identification completely from her wallet so that she may physically inspect the identification to determine that it is an authentic California driver's license is ridiculous. Because I asked the cashier what thing she was looking for to authenticate the license and her answer to me was uuugh.... Umm... I dun know??? It was clear that the cashier was having a tough day of it working second shift and all. But I don't think it is right to penalize a customer. My friend was so intimidated when asked if she wanted to purchase a bag she said no my friend will put it in his bag and then ran out of the store as fast as possible. In order to make it to CVS to pick up her prescription before they closed. She was unsure she would make it in time due to the delay tactics of the cashier at grocery outlet. I on the other hand. Happened to be shopping at grocery outlet in search of some cat food and other Cat products. I was rather surprised to see how little there was at grocery outlet as far as cat food and Cat products in comparison to the shelves and shelves of dog food and dog products I hope to see this faux paw reconciled in the future cats matter too... The facility is fairly clean and with the 99 cent Store being nearby I will probably find myself in the Grocery Outlet once again at some point in the future. I can overlook a grouchy cashier particularly one that is working second shift and not happy about her circumstances in life but to have to feed my cat and dog food that evening was a crying shame... Overall I did have an okay experience at grocery outlet and I recommend...
Read moreI shopped there for the first time, I thought that I had picked up some really great deals. I asked he person that was packing the bags to please keep the cold items all together as I may not be able to bring everything inside that day. She said that was no problem and pointed out the two bags that had all of the cold items. I took both bags in and put all away. Four days later I went to brig two more bags in.the front of the car was covered with well lets just say it took a couple of weeks to get rid the smell. I told the cashier the next time i went and she smiled and said that it was Too bad!!!! this from the same people that announced to the world that I had saved over one hundred thirty some dollars. I will not by anything frozen or cold...
Read moreThe Groceries are great, but the Staff is the Best. Always courteous, kind, and conscientious. I feel almost like it's a small town health food store. Always something unique, unexpected and usually awesome. SLO Grocery Outlet has great discounts, deals and lots of organic choices. They carry local items and many specialty items. You never know exactly what they'll have but I often find amazing deals on Kombucha, Artisan Cheeses and even Organic Meats. I love grocery Outlet. Today there was a beautiful full rainbow over the store when I arrived. I love the one in Atascadero, but the SLO one is...
