Recently got my hair cut at this location and was assisted by an older, somewhat heavyset African American woman. Prior to the actual haircut the woman removed the hat from my head and led me directly to the hair washing station despite the fact that I had not indicated that I wanted my hair washed. I asked for a simple mens trim. Approximately 3 minutes later she removed the apron and asked me how I liked it. During the 3 minute trim she combed and parted my hair but did not dry it. At the register I was prompted to pay $30.00. Knowing that a trim was $20.00 I politely asked her why I was being charged $30.00. She then pointed to the price list and I realized that the extra $10.00 charge was owed because of the hair wash. I then handed the woman 2 twenty dollar bills. She immediately took my payment and instead of offering me my change she incorrectly assumed that I intended to give her a ten dollar tip. I reluctantly assumed that perhaps my three minute trim was worth it. When I arrived back home I dried my hair and immediately became aware of the fact that I had just paid $40.00 for the worst haircut I had ever received. Only one of my sideburns was trimmed (unevenly) while the other was untouched. Upon closer inspection I realized that the the rest of my hair was completely uneven and was not even remotely close to what I would consider a trim. Bottom line...I was duped out of $40.00 and was left with a haircut that would have looked better if my 3 year old daughter had done it. Consider another place before getting a simple haircut at this location by the...
Read moreI am extremely pissed. Walked into this location waited for about 35 mins. Was denied service by an Asian woman with dark red hair and glasses. I have a sew in that is currently cut into a bob, I wanted the cut shorter, she said it is great clips policy to not cut “ fake hair”. Well, I visited great clips location on in Buckhead back in September with a similar hair style they cut my hair with no problem. Anywho this lady at the Roswell Rd location continued to say “we don’t cut fake hair” “we don’t cut wig” “it’s not you real hair”. I said ma’am this is not a wig this is a sew in, she proceeds to say “it not you real hair. We only cut real hair”. Furthermore she said it was a liability to line up my bob, because I would be mad if she “messed it up”. I said why would I be mad? She says “oh you not be mad”? Then says I’m sorry we don’t cut fake hair at this location. This felt like discrimination, the level of ignorance on ethnic an hair style is unacceptable. I have virgin human hair not synthetic. Horrible experience & customer service. My question is what’s the difference in liability if you “mess” up a cut on my natural hair ? Then to assume I would be mad! Stereotype and discrimination at its finest. Not to mention today is...
Read moreDo not go here!! If you do, do NOT let the Asian lady do it. She has redish hair and bangs rn, she has butchered my hair and others I know. If it is not absolutely simple, don't go. I even question they're ability to do a trim. If you do go, expect what you want times 3 or not what you asked for at all. Just go to a regular salon. Similar prices, better results.
Thanks for making me looked like a methed out Dora the Explorer!!
I told her exactly what I wanted, messarments and all and she still couldn't do it. I stuck around because at the first cut "which she did so close to my face I couldn't actually see" I thought "well there's no going back now".
Cut your own hair at 12 y/o you'll get the same results.
If you like looking reasonable and don't wanna be pressured for full price PLEASE go anywhere else. Hell, I'll give you the same cut for half the price! Give me some kitchen scissors and imagination and I can do...
