Macy's — Attraction in Santa Clarita

Macy's in Valencia is a nice place to shop.. great prices and you should always check the sale racks for specially marked down goodies. I have gotten Tommy Hilfiger and Polo Ralph Lauren clothes for awesome prices there sometimes. Its in a great location and just walking distance from the cheesecake factory where you can get lunch or dinner after your shopping is done at Macy's. The staff was nice and friendly and i ended up getting a Charter Club 600 fill Heavyweight goose down comforter that retail's over 650 dollars for a little over 300 dollars with sales and opening an account. So i will be ready for winter and be nice and toasty under the best down comforter they sell. The store was clean and lines were small and service was fast. I was in and out in no time. Macy's department store might be a little pricey but your getting quality products. I love their cologne department because they have every up to date and relevant cologne out there and in stock everytime i go in. This time i got myself the Men's fragrance by COACH and wow was i not disappointed. good quality stuff but customer service is non existent! My fiance found a coat she liked at the NYC Macy's but they didn't have her size, we found her size through calling this location and it was to be shipped out from the store, we received makeup for someone else the receipt with the item had a whole other customer on it, it's like the shipping people figured it's someone else's problem if people get the wrong stuff, then we call the store where we are given limited selections to choose from on thier automated answering service and no one answers the extension we are given, we resorted to calling sales associates hoping to speak to a manager they always put us on hold and never pick back up, to make matters worse Macy's corporate can't look up our order because it's not an online order, lord don't they monitor thier stores at the corporate level, this whole experience has been awful! Valencia Location: Tonight, I walked in on Mother’s Day due to my son needing an outfit for his recital. I only had 20 minutes before the store closed. The first person I ran into (the manager) immediately asked what I needed help with. I told him getting my son an outfit for the recital. He immediately knew where to take us. He told us where to go try everything on. During the time we were trying things on, there was the manager who I didn’t know was a manager at the time, and another employee who were working and being so kind bringing shirts in different colors and pants. Within a short period of time, my son had a whole outfit. The manager and employee, went above and beyond in the way that they were so kind, especially being the very end last minute of the evening. Perfect customer service and rare. I’ve only written one review for Google before, but was so impressed....
