Rennie Harris and the American Street Dancing Theater from Philadelphia. It’s like STOMP on steroids. Amazing hour long show. Highly recommended if you’re ever able to see this dance company especially if you’re in Philadelphia. The Alain Perez Quintero from Cuba. Jazz and Afro Cuban music by highly talented musicians. Perez was the bass player for the late Paco de Lucia and for many others such as Enrique Morente and the Jerry Gonzalez Quartet. Another great event at the Historic Asolo. “All Is Calm-The Christmas Truce of 1914” is now playing from December 4th thru the 22nd. It is the true story of a one day truce on Christmas Day. It takes place in “no man’s land” between the trenches of the Germans and the Allied troops. Thousands of troops sang Christmas and patriotic songs, played a game of soccer and buried their dead. They exchanged gifts of rum, chocolate and photos. This is a very moving play and is done by a group of highly accomplished performers with beautiful voices. I highly recommend this heartwarming play about soldiers who laid down the their weapons in the midst of a very brutal war and celebrate together. Performed in a spectacular historic theater built in 1798 in Asolo, Italy and imported from Italy in the mid 1900’s. Great show in an incredible venue. The side mezzanine seats were very comfortable. Plenty of free parking in a large lot.

Stunning architecture, this building is from the 1500’s in Oslo, Norway. It was transported to this location & is truly remarkable how they are able to keep it up. There are very small parts of it that had to be reconfigured & restored that was damaged & didn’t make the trip over, however about 85% of it is still in its original condition. It seats about 550 people & the acoustics are marvelous. My family & I went to see Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. As being someone who grew up going to broadway shows, this show transported me back to New York City! The friendliness of about half of the staff could be significantly better, nevertheless, everything else about this place was spectacular. Thanks Team Asolo Theater!

A friend invited me last night to the showing of “Intimate Apparel” at the Asolo. I had never been to a play at this level or to the theater . I’m hooked. Everyone we came in contact with at the theater was fantastic and the bartender we had was great . Wish I had remembered his name . We purchased “ sippy wine glasses so we could bring them into the theater . Wine glasses with a lid basically . We had balcony seats . great view but for me with a bad back n neck it was sometimes difficult to look over so you could see scenes towards front of stage . I don’t think I sat all the way back in my seat the entire show. We had a wonderful time and the theater is beautiful. Definitely will be back .

A historical venue, the Asolo Theatre is just the perfect size. This venue is clean, and staff is friendly and helpful. Easily accessible from the same lobby entrance you use to get into the Ringling museum. The smaller size of this venue makes it feel more special and private but you do not miss any of the big venue quality, sound and comfort. I visited 12/10/21 and saw Flor de Toloache perform, who are outstanding! Masks were worn inside the theatre.

Our family bought tickets for the Summer Circus Spectacular at the Ringling Museum on 7/9/24. This is our 2nd year patronizing this show. This year's venue surpassed last year's with a big margin. The performers were superb. What a selection! We absolutely enjoyed this show. Looking forward for the next summer show.

My wife and I went to see the summer circus spectacular. I would give it six stars if they were one more. It was entertaining just about the right time easy to get in and out of and it was a delightful afternoon
