Woodfield Mall — Attraction in Schaumburg Township

No womens bathroom! Only ONE single working toilet stall for women to use in the entire mall! I had to use the most disgusting mens bathroom ive ever entered in my entire 35 year on this planet. My shoes stuck to the floor immediately after stepping in, due to the amount of pee covering EVERYTHING. There was pee all over the toilet seat. That bathroom was more disgusting than any port-a-potty i have ever used... and im a festival goer, so that says a lot. NO air conditioning in the ENTIRE mall! On hot days like this, that is especially egregious. We had to leave the mall almost immediately due to my children and myself having a genetic condition that make us heat intolerant. When we over heat out body's releases calcium and other minerals into our bloodstream, causeing almost immediately death without a quickly administered antidote. JCPenny, was the most unbearably hot store in the whole mall, though none of them were comfortable. It was just as hot and humid inside JCPenny, as it is outside. I finally found a spot where it felt like the A/C was blowing from, so i stopped my kids there to try to cool them down, but it wasnt even cold air coming out. This might be ok in the winter months, but not in the summer. I high recommend skipping woodfield and just heading to Gurnee, which is the second largest mall in Illinois, and the have very good air conditioning. Save woodfield for the winter when you want to warm up, not when its feeling over 100°F with the humidity outside, becauseit is the same temp inside the mall. Im sure woodfield is a multip billion dollar mall, they can afford AC, they just don't care enough about their customers and the community to keep them cool while giving them our money. I’m not exaggerating friends, Woodfield mall has such a lively clean and well crafted atmosphere from any entrance you walk in from and it is always filled with people and you will find even on weekdays many people strolling through this mall with a smile on their face.

Seeking to find the most unique and amazing shops, kiosks, restaurants, quick bites, nail salons, massage parlors, and/or you want your eyebrows done? Woodfield mall has it all.

This mall is so large that you will get lost in it but they have a QR code as soon as you enter that you can use to pull up a map - or you can do as I do and wander the mall and find niche shops that truly can’t be found anywhere else.

Even the Kiosks in between the malls are amazing and diverse whether you need a watch battery replaced or the latest new gadget or gizmo, Woodfield Mall has it.

Take your Kids, Take your Wife/Husband/Partner, take everyone or go solo but just go to this mall and experience the infinite possibilities within.

I’ve been here so many times, over 100+, and I still- to this day stumble upon amazing shops I never even knew existed.

This mall is extremely well maintained and the atmosphere will enliven the soul - it does for me.

This has been one of my favorite malls since the 80s when they had an ice skating rink next to John's Garage, theaters all kinds of great places to go. And for the most part it still is. Here's my issue, a certain store by the name of CENTER STAGE. They have a store upstairs next to Hot Topic and a kiosk by the food court. These people harass customers walking by on a daily basis but the other day they caught me off guard and I mentioned at least 3 times I was busy saying no thank you. The guy said give me 1 minutes to give you a sample. They were so aggressive I figured at that point take the sample and go. Next thing I know they without asking permission put some face cream on my face and showed me a mirror saying look how great this works them handed me some cream which by the way WAS NOT the sampled cream they put on my face telling me to buy it. Yes telling me! At this point I said no thanks and walked out of the store, came home and did a little research online and well no surprise I find out they have hundreds of complaints with the BBB. Everything from browbeating, aggressive sales tactics and yes bait and switch. They're basically listed as a scam company. I talked to the security guard at the mall who said they get daily complaints about that store. So my question is why is the mall management allowing this?
