Hyatt House North Scottsdale — Attraction in Scottsdale

For three previous vacations, we stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites a mile or so south on Scottsdale Road. Hyatt House North is a big improvement over the aging Hampton (common areas excellent but rooms aging, poorly designed and a bit depressing). And to our surprise, the Hyatt price was less for our period stay when we booked four months in advance. Hyatt Location, kitchen suite layout/decor, and common areas all excellent. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Only improvement would be breakfast. Lynn (Supervisor) was very friendly and the dining area spacious and comfortable. But when breakfast is supposed to go 9AM...that means 9AM...not 8:55 when staff pulled things away. The food and beverage offerings could not keep up with the crowd for the whole week so we ended up using our kitchen half the time. Breakfast staff seemed indifferent or just not on top of things. Not in line with the rest of the property offerings. Suggestion: breakfast should ideally last until 9:30 and then they can pull...

Usually I love Hyatt hotels for the clean rooms but was very disappointing, Our first night we noticed the TOILET WASNT CLEANED(which is VERY UNSANITARY) and the floors weren’t vacumed, but we had traveled for a couple of days and were too tired to say anything. Then we didn’t receive any housekeeping so I called and let them know and they said they would do a deep clean since no one had come to our room at a certain time, then when we arrived back nothing was cleaned just our bed and some new towels. They DID NOT CHANGE our BED SHEETS and just assembled our bed when I specifically asked for clean bed sheets. Didn’t even leave toilet paper when there was only half of one the day we got our room so yet again I had to tell the front desk and they had a very nice gentlemen come clean our bathroom and give us toilet paper and he did a very thorough job I would like to thank him. We will not be retuning to this Hyatt location, if the bathrooms weren’t cleaned I wonder what else wasn’t clean...

This here hotel has been the most amazing with upmost accommodating services that I have ever experienced!!! During each stay both Nick and Joe have been so welcoming to me and my family as my husband has gone thru evaluation, and transplant surgery for a new liver. Nick and Joe have treated myself and my children with the upmost respect and care!! They have made sure we have a good nights sleep and have made sure we are accommodated throughout our entire stay!! My husband is a liver failure patient at Mayo Clinic on Mayo Blvd. Nick and Joe have made sure we are kept safe at all times and have made sure we sleep well during this entire process!! I truly do recommend this hotel to all my family and friends in the surrounding area!! Rates are especially reasonable during our stay even when last minute!! Please do not miss out on such a comfortable stay!! Trust me you will not be disappointed!! God bless Nick and Joe for everything they have done for myself...
