Toka is an absolute gem in Scottsdale for anyone looking to experience genuinely authentic Balkan cuisine. The restaurant not only impresses with its immaculate cleanliness but also captures a genuine Balkan atmosphere. The decor and ambiance are warm, inviting, and reminiscent of a cozy, traditional Balkan eatery.
The staff is incredibly kind, and their service is top-notch, making you feel like part of the family. We’ve had čevapčiči and burek all over the Balkans, but we rarely enjoyed them as much as we did here. The perfectly grilled and juicy čevapčiči were seasoned to perfection, and the meat-rich burek was flaky and savory—a true delight.
What makes Toka even more special is its offering of traditional Balkan products for sale, featuring original brands that are hard to find elsewhere. From food items to drinks and sweets, you can take a piece of the authentic Balkan experience home with you.
Toka is a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine taste of the Balkans right in Scottsdale....

The food is so unique and delicious but the owner, Millot and his son Dylan are wonderfully friendly, helpful and professional. For the food, the menu is limited but what we had was great. The grilled gruyere cheese was smothered with cremini shrooms, arugula and a very tasty truffle carpaccio. We then shared feta/cottage cheese burek (which was similar to a cheese blintze but in a delicious flaky dough and spinach/green onion burek (spanekopedia like). Both with a side of homemade yogurt. So so good. My friend needed the entire Albanian experience so we shared coconut ball bombing and honey medallion cookie. Simple great and high in calories! Will definitely be going back for bfast and the qebapa qofte which is grilled ground beef sausage in the most delicious looking bread! Until...

I tried the Qebapa sausage sandwich, and it was out of this world. It is served with sour cream and coleslaw. The sandwich features homemade sausages and bread. The cappuccino was also excellent. They also offer a few grocery items to go such as delectable European Milka chocolate, assorted candies and useful pantry items.
The prices are very reasonable and they also have a small outdoor patio. Please support...
