I was looking for a park that had easy access to the water for my kayak and I found this park. It was really great because it had stairs down to the beach plus wooden slide in the middle of the stairs to slide my kayak down and back up. Perfect Beach to launch the kayak. I only gave it four stars because there was only paid parking that I could find. Oh well besides that it was a great place to go kayaking because to the left is montlake cut to go through and then to the right you can go into lake Union which is a spectacular view of downtown Seattle in the space Needle.
