A very convenient store for UW students on a dining plan, but for anyone else, not so much. Items are greatly overpriced. For example, a box of “regular” sized cheerios runs around $7-8, whereas other stores (further up the ave) charge much lower prices. The line around noon can get quite long, but it moves relatively quickly. In addition, the store has a small coffee shop, the Husky Grind, which has a lot of vegan friendly options. The thing is, the vegan options arent very clearly labeled, so to the average consumer, you could be scammed into buying a sandwich thats SEEMS normal, but is actually vegan (see attached picture). With the main alternatives being Target and Safeway, both a fair walk uphill from West campus, this is easily the best option. That said, be sure to check prices before you buy. While things like produce and breads are very cheap and reasonable, I've noticed that most snacks like Oreos and drinks are often up to double normal grocery store prices.
