Yesterday I went to return an Amazon Item that UPS is PAID by the Amazon Merchant for Return Shipping. Like others have stated This UPS store thinks YOU should ALSO pay THEM to Print THEIR label for THEIR system. That label that was Free because THEY require it for their system to do what they are ALREADY paid for? Then when I told them Cold Day In Hell I was Stalked to my Vehicle by a guy in their store Uniform Telling me I had to use their pay system.....right up to the front bumper of our car where my friend who is muslim in the car told me this wacko was also making Islamic hand gestures. It's Seattle. I think this was to cry "Racism" to evade the real problem here. Avoid this place as it seems setup to have every excuse to evade Poor, Greedy service. Returns NO Longer free at the least.
Update: Bold lies as expected because of previous posters. "Colorful language" I guess is what calling them Greedy Scumbags is now and I'm OK with that. NO hand "gestures" were given to him until he start doing his hand gestures and my friend told me what they ment so I gave him the the American Version. Trying to Hide behind an ASL type disability is lewd. As for Label Printing this scammer is the ONLY UPS Store that CHARGES for printing THEIR Labels! There was no problem SCANNING the Code from My Phone and Printing the label at a different UPS Store and when asked if charging for Printing it is now the new normal they laughed and said NO, that this location was well known for their little scam. Avoid these Greedy, Scammers and now also Liars.
Update: Exact Amazon Policy "The UPS Store will pack, label, and ship your return for free. Just bring the item in its original manufacturerâs packaging and disassemble the item (if applicable). We'll email you a QR code to ship your return. Show it to a store associate at any...
Read moreI just went into the UPS store, with so many packages. I was frantic, couldnât remember what label went to which package to do my Amazon returns, and was quite frankly in the most frazzled state, having come out of multiple meetings that had to deal with my personal life in shambles. I couldâve start started to cry, but luckily, I was fortunate enough to get Jill who helped me sort through things, and during the last 17 minutes that they were open, she was so patient and kind to me as we figured out which label went to which package and she made so many funny jokes that helped me calm down and feel better about not only the the packages but honestly about my life in general. I canât tell you the fallout that Iâve experienced personally, but in the few moments that I was with Jill, I felt like I could actually handle not only the mailing of multiple packages, but I could maybe even get a handle on my life again.
Jill you made my day!! and I am driving away right now with tears in my eyes for how you were so kind to me.. Thank you so much for being there and thank you so much for being the beautiful, gorgeous ball of joyous light that you are. You made me and my day feels so much special are and more centered. So thank you I bless you and I hope all of your days are filled with such gorgeous light that you are! Thank you, UPS! Thank you, Jill!
(PS if you have or havenât read this, Jill, could the husband of Jl please read this review out loud to her? I know he works there too and I think it would be really nice if she could hear this from him reading it aloud to her/you....
Read moreRIP OFF. RIPOFF mail prices, Seattle, United States. $70 for a 3-lb. package insured GROUND, no less, $100 for 2nd-day air and $130 for overnight. FLAT OUT RIP OFF PRICES, on media mail no less. I didn't make this up; this were my actual quotes.
I then took my package to another mail box place, and they said a flat-rate 3-lb box is $18.95. So with that, packaging, extra insurance and delivery confirmation--including a high-end chocolate bar--it came to $42. Night and day differences with the prices. They didn't even give me any other options, but $70 was their starting off point. In response to the owner's comment of "not ripping people off," I can see that he is blinded by his own passions. As I said, $18.95 at another place is the base price, whereas $70 at the UPS store is their STARTING POINT. So the UPS Store is nearly FOUR TIMES the BASE price--the starting point, so how, exactly, is this not a ripoff? What would be, then if not this?
At the other store, I did pay more for packaging, faster shipping and gifts within the store, AND tax, and my total was still HALF the STARTING OFF POINT at the UPS Ripoff Store. I'm merely reporting the facts. I could change the adjectives if the owner doesn't like the word "ripoff", which would then be, "vastly overpriced," "gouging" or "extravagant," "a hosing,'"exorbitant," "unreasonable," "highway robbery" or "sky high," or something like that. Nevertheless, I would be accurate in my description of the UPS store being a ripoff.
I have absolutely no...
