Lake Seminole is a reservoir located in the southwest corner of Georgia along its border with Florida, maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Chattahoochee and Flint rivers join in the lake, before flowing from the Jim Woodruff Lock and Dam, which impounds the lake, as the Apalachicola River.

Beautiful lake. Drop for kayaks, jet skis and boats. There are, of course, gators because it’s Florida but they don’t bother you. Also can be water moccasins. There are signs posted with “no swimming” warnings. But boating is fine. The rest of the park has bathrooms and lots of trails for...

I help the city and state on this waterbody and it’s great. Not too big. Good ramp and parking at least during the week. Ecologically speaking, it’s beautiful and diverse. I have spent time in the park, but from what I can tell there’s ample space to explore and exercise...

A large beautiful lake... I remember being young and having so much more nature surrounding the lake, now population.... Today got to see a passing large gator and some happy birds! Always a nice place to relax and enjoy life 🧬.

A large beautiful lake... I remember being young and having so much more nature surrounding the lake, now population.... Today got to see a passing large gator and some happy birds! Always a nice place to relax and enjoy life 🧬.
