**EDIT!! To the owner that told me to review my contract, I spoke to YOUR front desk staff far before my membership was up to see what I had to do to cancel. SEVERAL people told me that I would be unable to do anything until my contract was over 12/29/22. Maybe train your staff better to communicate these things to your members. I had considered coming back eventually because I like the facility, but this has proven that you're no better than any other big-box scam commercial gyms out there. Also, something else I forgot to mention, is that the door to the womens only gym that you pay up to $20 per month EXTRA for, has been broken for months, allowing any woman in the gym, no matter which membership they pay for, to use the "private" section. So not only is the main gym floor completely over crowded, but so is this "exclusive" ammenity.
Iâm sad to have to write this review. TLDR: this business is an absolute scam. I started going to the edge on 11/29/21 on a Black Friday promotion. I loved the gym, made friends with the staff, etc. I was there every single day. It wasnât until recently that my feelings changed. I had only signed up for 1 year, and was looking to cancel due to life changes. It was then that I found out that my membership was active until 12/29/22 (13 months). I was confused by this but then was told that this is because I got my first month for free with the Black Friday deal. Weird to lock someone in for more than a year when you advertise a year long contract, but I let it go. I called today to see if I had to do anything else to cancel my membership seeing that my contract had ended a couple days ago. The man that I spoke to told me that they do not handle cancellations, that I needed to call a second party company. Weird, but okay. I called the company, which then told me that they do not handle cancellations over the phone? That I needed to email them. When I did, an auto reply came back saying it would take 3-5 days to process my request. The woman then proceeds to let me know that I was charged on 12/31 (two days after my contract was up) for $35, an up charge from the membership I had signed up for. Even if I had cancelled my membership ON the 29th (considering they make it clear you cannot cancel before your contract is up) I still wouldâve been charged on the 31st because my ârequest would not have been processedâ in time. I asked her to please refund me as I wish to cancel and I was never informed that my membership would auto renew, especially this quickly. She said âthey donât handle refundsâ and Iâd have to call the club. So I did just that. Was put on hold for 10+ minutes and when I finally was able to speak to someone she basically told me I was out of luck, that my membership was over and despite me having been surprise charged 2 days ago, I will not have access to the gym for the month that I paid for. Complete scam. Such a shame. Itâs places like these that discourage many from ever joining a gym again. This money grab company should be ashamed of themselves. On top of all of this, theyâve simply sold too many memberships and the gym is incredible...

I opted for the best membership, brought my gf on board to do the same, always bought tons of drinks and shakes and showed up nearly dailyâŚI loved this gym.
I signed up for personal training and loved that too, did it for several months straightâŚ
Until I needed to cancel the training. Over time this gym became so completely crowded I could no longer train because I couldnât afford to spend 3 hours finishing my workout (but that isnât the real problem here).
Iâve heard plenty of nightmare stories before and have my own now to add. I knew the policy and I did my homework, I know how far in advance you need to cancel your training. I know that no matter when you decide to cancel it youâre almost always hit with another paymentâŚ
I cancelled my personal training back in the beginning of JANUARY of 2025⌠in personâŚat my clubâŚwith a managerâŚsigned the electronic paperworkâŚdid everything right. Still got billed end of January (expected this) but itâs not overâŚ
I had my personal training just like my membership set up on auto eft billing for $200 a month. Once I cancelled it in January my last automatic withdrawal happened near the end of the month then the payments stoppedâŚno more withdrawal for Feb, March, AprilâŚetc. I had no reason to believe anything was wrong as the manager had told me it was cancelled and the automated monthly training payments stopped.
I walk into gym a couple weeks ago on May 14th to tan (I donât workout there anymore and havenât in months but I still tan sometimes because Iâm locked into monthly membership) and they tell me I owe them SEVERAL HUNDRED FOR TRAINING outstandingâŚ. I told them thatâs not true I cancelled months ago here in person and my last payment was withdrawn at the end of January.
Iâve spoken with another manager and they say they will âmake a note on my accountâ but nothing has been done to fix this! So they turned off my auto eft somehow but kept running up my balance in the background?!?! This is some criminal shit.
I just opened the app today to find that 4 days after my last visit complaining about this that they AGAIN CHARGED ANOTHER MONTH OF TRAINING SESSIONS that I did NOT agree to and did NOT SIGN UP FOR!
DO NOT SIGN UP AT THIS GYM THEY ARE NOT OPERATING ETHICALLY OR LEGALLY. Call your lawyer as soon as you suspect something is up itâs the only option left for me as they flat out REFUSE to cancel my personal training and lied to me about it!!!

That I have found that there is no employment in this building hours of operations, and that the doors have been locked presumably, a half hour past the common working hours that this club provides. Iâm just dissatisfied in the quality of this club for the factors that they have refused to accommodate their members who are now all sitting in the parking lot of this club. I arrived here at approximately 4:29 AM expecting the doors to have already been open for a half hour to accommodate to the common hours of their Monday opening operations of 4 AM. To find that I am sitting in a parking lot at 4:30 in the morning and seeing that there was no listings on any paperwork showing that the club would not be open. I do not choose to willingly come at this time of operation but itâs one of the main reasons I have initially signed up for my membership was for the optional hours of early morning workouts because I have a family and I donât have time to come in the afternoon like others may. Due to this outcome I am extremely frustrated with this have happening now more than 5 times in this past year. To the point where I am now sending emails to you to understand to whoever this is, that I am very dissatisfied and I feel cheated in my membership and services is not rendered as promised. There will be a review that is going to mirror this email in dissatisfaction of the quality of this gym.
Outside of the fact that solely in this facility I have received in this year alone 2 skin infections, while working out here from lacking cleaning of the equipment, from zero maitence to the dust, etc. atested by my skin problems (now) at this gym.
Also mentioning the lack of the factors that the equipment is on two days of the week average not put away(and/or) reracked by the staff/guests, (whom, if they need be) reminded. due to that being a literal agreed upon stipulation when signing up. And written on the rules painted in large font on the walls of the facility. the daytime staff, when they have excessive staff filled with 8plus employees at a desk, may need to have training in observations of common club order.
