Went here for my birthday celebration and wanted to try out their escape rooms. Previously have done some others elsewhere but wanted to try a new place. Firstly , the detail and room props are wonderful. It's super immersive and that part was a lot of fun. The person who helped us at the front desk was amazing, they were super friendly, and went into full detail of the rooms for us. The game master we had was good at communicating... But they seemed like they didn't want to be there, or someone who didn't enjoy their job. She was extremely monotone and unenthusiastic. At one point one of the items in our room didn't work and malfunctioned , so she came to fix it and was just kinda like "this breaks all the time..." In this Eeyore type of response. And at the end when we did complete the room she in the same Eeyore type voice was like "congrats...... You saved the puppies and the kittens... Woo...". It was a little lackluster and almost took away from the excitement of finishing the room.

The biggest complaint I'd have compared to others though is that the room could be more challenging. We chose the "medium" difficulty one and we finished it with 28 minutes to spare. Other places we've gone , most people don't escape and if you do it's usually within seconds or minutes to spare. Looking at their Facebook page escaping with anywhere from 10-28 mins to spare is a common theme at this place, which to me personally means you should make the rooms more challenging. We didn't utilize any hints, had people who had never done escape rooms and yet we finished it super fast. Escape rooms aren't cheap so you do want to get the full moneys worth and it's actually a bummer if it only takes 30 minutes of your time to complete. The other thing is that it was very linear and sometimes hard to have everyone participate. In other locations there are a lot of simultaneous puzzles that can be worked on so everyone can have their hands in the pot all at once and no one is left standing around.

All that being said, we really enjoyed ourselves. They did a great job with the setup, the feel of it, it really felt like you walked into a subway station...

Kitsap Great Escape is located very close to downtown Silverdale, a.k.a. quite literally the center of Kitsap. Easy to find, plenty of parking (especially considering patrons are staggered via appointments), very close to dozens of restaurants.

The reservation was booked and paid for in advance.

Located in an office building with a traditional lobby, up one flight of stairs. The actual entry way to Kitsap Great Escapes is very welcoming, adorned with a casual setting, little visuals that encourage the adventure you are about to embark on, and a digital score board to see the top teams that completed each room, their times, and the number of clues that they asked for. I should state that at now time was there any pressure to be competitive. The host made it abundantly clear that she could help as much or as little as needed, just by speaking to the cameras and microphones in the escape room.

After signing a digital consent form on a tablet that took no more than 5-seconds per person, we were providing with the rules and paraments of the escape room, both to tell us what was allowed, but also to keep us on track as to not waste time trying to pry up floor boards.

Once inside the room, you are given 60 minutes on a clock and are then provided with an audio message from the character to start the adventure. The clues were very well thought out, in-theme, but also very exciting and rewarding to uncover. At any time during the experience, you can speak to the cameras to ask for clues. You can ask for help multiple times but it only counts one time per clue/mental-obstacle.

The host that checked us in was also the "eye in the sky" and clue-provider. She was incredibly professional, engaging, and helped with the immersion.

At the end of the experience every single party member was incredibly satisfied with their experience, smiling, and making plans to return for another engagement.

While I have not experienced many other traditional escape rooms, I had an amazing time and would highly recommend Kitsap...

This was my first Escape Room experience ever and I really enjoyed it! I loved the front desk guy's enthusiasm, our escape room The Terminal, and just the whole experience overall. Kitsap Escape Rooms set the bar pretty high for our first experiences.

Pricing was pretty steep, but it was a one time occassion - my brother's 14th birthday! There were five of us. For our team name, my brother went, "um...um... um..." unable to think of one. Then the front desk guy asks, "how about Three Ums?" and thus our team name was born! ;) The Safety video was as hilarious as it was informative too; meme game: 100. As for escaping the room, and many desperate hints later lol, we made it out with 48 seconds remaining. We all had a good time.

My only hope for next time is that the AC works, because even with the fan in the room, it did get bit hot with us running around. They said they were working on it, so chances are it's already fixed. Also, locating them can be a bit tough, so be sure to walk in that area pictured to see their pop up sign in case a car is covering it. The first mystery was trying...

We had an amazing time at Professor Whipilton’s Mystic Mansion! From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was immersive, mysterious, and full of clever surprises. The puzzles were challenging but flowed together perfectly, keeping our whole group engaged and excited with each new discovery. A huge shoutout to our host, Jai, who made the experience even better. Jai was welcoming, energetic, and set the tone right away with a fun introduction that pulled us into the story. Their hints were perfectly timed—helpful without ever giving too much away—so we always felt like we were earning each win. If you’re looking for an escape room that blends creativity, challenge, and a fantastic host, Mystic Mansion is absolutely the place to go. We left buzzing with excitement and already want to come back for another adventure!

Emily and the gang put up with all our discombobulated nonsense with the greatest of kindness and good humor. We weren't the best at solving things but we had a ton of fun anyway. You know an escape room is good if you still enjoy losing! Thanks KGE, we had a blast "dying" in the submarine!
