Liv A Latte is a terrible place to work and frequent. I was employed there for almost a full year. In that time frame there were multiple health code violations and L&I claims filed. Customers, staff, and business partners are disrespected and walked all over, lied to too many times, and the unhealthy work environment made anyone quickly realize that working for Liv A Latte was not a good decision. I have been in the coffee industry since 2012, and I choose NOT to support Liv A Latte for the following reasons: No breaks or lunches for staff (until recently due to L&I) No notice before schedule changes, late schedule posting (days after the week started) Inconsistency of product due to procrastination or lack of regard from owner No business structure implemented for staff or product, No training for staff -whether they have zero experience or 8 years of experience Disregard of mental and physical health of employees Unlawfully short time in between shifts Hiding COVID testing and positive COVID test results from staff and threatening termination for seeking out COVID testing Multiple L&I claims from injury, to workers rights, to compensation The owner of Liv A Latte Espresso does not care about the community, customers, business or product and for these multitudinous reasons, I will not support the Liv A...

Upon arriving I waited a little more than 5 minutes before then thinking I went to the wrong window but also was met with no response on the other side. The open sign was ON and I have a injury that prevented me from being able to get out and knock on the window so I called the number online that was connected to Liv A Latte
I then had to apologize profusely to a very confused and groggy older gentleman who believed I was trying to prank call him at almost 5 am the morning and had to explain to him what was going on before he hung up.

Read moreWe waited about 10 minutes for the car in front of us to get their coffee, which was fine. I figured they were just doing a good job and I didn’t mind waiting. When we got to the window I ordered coffee and a bagel. The bill was $14.09 which I thought was high since the bagel was $3.50. I asked the barista if she meant to charge $10 for my coffee and she said they had to upcharge for eggnog. I said ok, but I wouldn’t be back at that price. I know that wasn’t the barista’s issue, but hoped she’d pass it on to the owner. I left expecting to have a really good cup of coffee for $10 and it was the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I ordered a latte with white coffee and eggnog and it tasted like hot water with a little eggnog in it....
