Heritage Boutique — Attraction in Sioux Falls Township

There are certain things that I hold principle in this world, not the least of which is honesty and integrity. The owner of this store Chelsea, has neither of those. I wouldn't buy from such a vile, awful, outright horrible human being if my life depended on it. This woman's business was built on the back of a man over the course of two years. She then turned around and cheated on that man. From there she decided to run away, and lie about her actions. After that she decided to have a year long battle to steal away the business from this loving man. She would have nothing without him, and yet stole everything from him. Not only that but she tried to sue him for unknown reasons. All of this should be said, because for too long horrible people have gotten away with horrible things. 100% honesty: I used to not like shopping here. I felt awkward as I would watch some of the staff interact with other shoppers but just smile in my direction and not come over to see if I needed help. I felt out of place & not very welcomed. A while back I saw a post Chelsea made about revamping the atmosphere & culture of the staff/store. I gave it another try and my goodness, whatever Chelsea changed, IT WORKED. This is one of my favorite boutiques to shop at now, and I recently enjoyed a style session with a friend. The intentionality & genuine excitement to help customers find those special pieces to add to their wardrobe means more to me than I think they realize. Poor service. Was there today 10/31/2015 and it wasn't Chelsea. It was some other gal. My girlfriend and I were there and she was trying on clothes before another gal came in. We were ready to pay for the clothing yet the clerk just left us hanging. Didn't bother to say that she be a moment or anythong. We stood there nearly 5 min waiting. There were only 2 sets of patrons there so it's not like it was busy or anything. In a shop like this one has to be able to multi-task. We left with no response from the clerk. Lost sale.
