Sonoma MD Medical Spa — Attraction in Sonoma

First time getting MICRODERMABRASION & I’m hooked. The facility is extremely clean & the lobby is bathed in natural light. The front desk staff was very welcoming and I didn’t feel out of place (even though I’d never visited a medical spa before). I was comfortable & relaxed in my cozy private room with serene lighting & my choice of ethereal spa music or chill instrumental arrangements of pop hits. My aesthetician Isabelle put me at ease immediately, providing a heated blanket & a cute little modesty wrap. I believe the modesty wrap is worn in place of my own blouse so that no products get onto my clothing. (I was lying supine for this treatment on a soft bed/table.) My experience of the treatment itself ranged from mostly tingly to occasionally a bit spicy, but never painful or unpleasant. Isabelle is confident in her skills and yet very gentle. Before she did anything she would explain what she was about to do & what I could expect it to feel like. More than once she asked me about my comfort level, cheerily accommodating my request for a cushion under my knees. And my skin looks & feels better already! Definitely think twice and consider other options before booking here!! My first attempt for an appointment here was sometime in mid-2024 on a Monday morning, I think around 11 or 12. They are a 1/2 hour drive from where I live and I got into town around a few hours early to enjoy some coffee and walk around Sonoma. A little over an hour before my appointment, I received a phone call letting me know that my appointment was cancelled—no explanation, no apology, no offer to reschedule. Incredibly unprofessional, obviously, and an unfortunate waste of my time. I 100% should have let the relationship die then and there but I decided to make 1 more attempt. I scheduled an appointment for the 1st week in January which I then had to cancel—which I did with an entire week’s notice. The business still charged me a $30 "non-refundable deposit" even though their website clearly states: "We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1day before the beginning of your appointment." I cancelled my appointment SIX days before it was scheduled and they refused to honor their policy as it is laid out online. Apparently they really need my $30!! This Place is Amazing, I recommend it 100% I have been coming here , since May 2022 . I have the most Beautiful experiences . I have been treated for severe Cystic Acne , and I am very Thankful because I am seeing Results, I am so Happy ... and beyond Grateful. I have been on acutane Twice and never helped me and instead was giving me problems with my liver so I had to quit. This time i have see the results. Consistency is the key for sure !
