Wanted to like this place but after stealing 40 dollars and refusing to return it. Played games but wouldn't return our money after we were double charged. I understand mistakes happen but you should correct your mistakes. Not keep 40 of a patron and refuse to return it or even offer 40 in goods. Offered to take the same order of food instead of the money so they didn't have to give back the money and made another sale. Nope wouldn't do it. Was told come back so he can see ok our banking app we were double charged. We don't live close but did it anyway. Was told he had to check on his end and that would take a few days. Why tell us over the phone to come in and you'd fix the.problem??? Only to tell us come back in 3 days..??? Waited 3 more days....More of the same games but no money back. This went on for 2 weeks. Was told he would call us amd return the money. If you're wondering if we ever got that call...no we didn't. Tried being nice about it and going through him directly but obviously once they have your money rightfully theirs or not they're not letting it go. Finally went through the bank and was credited back for the money quickly. Food was ok but nothing special. Definitely overpriced foe what you get. Over-priced before the extra gas and time to only be played games with. Go to Curry in a Hurry the quality is great and on n point with price. Amazing food and honest owners.i guarantee the food and experience will be far better. If you want to support dishonest people and just okay overpriced food go...
Read moreGood - my husband and I tried the chicken and beef kabobs, naan, garlic naan and a mango drink. The food came out hot and fresh clearly made to order. I really enjoyed the beef kabobs, it was flavorful and the meat wasn't overcooked or dry at all. My husband described the chicken as having a pleasant flavor, and we both really enjoyed the naan! All of the employees were friendly. A couple things I hope the owner will take as constructive feedback - we were a little confused when we walked in on whether it was a seat yourself, wait to be seated or order at the counter before sitting type restaurant. A simple sign could help first time diners. Also, service was a little slow. I have no problem waiting for good food to come out of the kitchen but it took a long time to be greeted, took a while for our order to be taken and then our food took a while too. We thought we would get water with our food but we had to ask for it half way through our meal and our food didn't come out together, it came out a plate at a time which seemed disorganized. I would suggest greeting customers either with water or asking them if they'd like some and bringing the food out altogether. Lastly, the dining area needs some attention. Furniture, and main counter seemed new and clean but paint on the walls were chipped and well worn, floors were pretty dingy and counter seemed cluttered. A good update/cleaning would make a better first impression especially for new customers. Overall I would eat there again and hope to see the restaurant improve and their...
Read moreEating at Kabob Stop is sitting at the table of a friend and sharing a meal. When the hosts seated us, the table felt familiar, like I stepped into their personal dining room.
The prices are very reasonable; the food flavorfully filling; the servers kind and unpretencious.
Order some garlic naan (or plain). It was bigger than my face; 2 people could share it, though one might be tempted to consume its deliciousness on their own-- it's that delectable.
My boyfriend (who had only eaten Indian food once before) ordered the classic chicken tikka masala, no heat(pepperoni is too spicy for him) which came with a choice of rice or naan. Despite the absence of heat, the Indian spice and flavor came through. I ordered the chicken masala boti. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, though looking at my boyfriend's tikka masala, I was envious of sauce which was absent from my dish.
Overall, the classic "hole in the strip wall" restaurant wins again! Thank...
