Hello all, the la Pequeñita store is such a delightful place to shop. It’s nearly perfect, except maybe for a few things, like there’s not much parking, so if you go around a holiday, you might have to park on the street. Listen though, if you are looking for a place where it is totally possible for you to bump into that “special someone,” LOOK NO FURTHER! This store is tiny, and the aisles are kind of narrow, so you will have some opportunities to make friends there. Now, during the pandemic, let’s give a healthy six feet of distance to each other as much as possible, but the minute the pandemic is over, let’s get back to standing together in close proximity and saying hello to unmasked strangers without feeling scared of catching a deadly virus. I would bet that before the pandemic, people DEFINITELY have fallen in love at la Pequeñita. It has EVERYTHING: mood lighting, cool drinks, music, and paneton. If you need South American food and such, this is the...
Read moreI don’t know if place is under new management but this store isn’t what it was a couple months ago. Customer service was bad but it’s gotten worse, shelves and fridges are empty, lots of products are expired or about to expire. Stickers with false expiration date put on real expiration date print. I would recommend anyone to not waste their time coming to this store. Maybe the Orem location will be better. There is a new store in West Valley on 4700 S 2700 W, I believe it’s called Bodeguita Latina, give them a try. Usually their customer service is better and they carry a great variety of products as well as take recommendations from customers as to what products they’d like to see on their shelves. If the owners read this review, you guys have a lot of work to do to avoid all your customers to...
Read moreI was really happy to see a decent selection of Brazilian products. Especially chocolate Easter eggs! Now if you have never had a Brazilian Easter egg than you are in luck. They are awesome and huge! But they are seasonal, Easter season after all. Prices aren't cheap but they aren't expensive. Considering this is the states I think the prices are actually pretty fair. Well, except the Antarctica guarana. That is just so expensive. They also have serenada de amor (bom bom).
The store is small but a good selection of South American inventory. Parking is limited but you can always park on the side of the road. The store isn't too hard to spot but you do need to keep your eye out for it. I actually missed it my first trip and had to...
