everyone who works here is nice. i know y’all went on strike, no one blames the staff. . i leave a good star review because i believe in supporting local cinema, and this is one of the only theaters in town.
it’s ill management. the owner apparently doesn’t care about the appearances of the internal building as it’s corroded and chipping everywhere. but the movies are always well presented.
to be frank, the worst part is the fact that it’s largest demographic is loud, obnoxious, fidgety TEENAGERS. i’m talking strictly about the pg-13 crowd. they make a mess, use their phones, talk. During the new Spider-man, a kid started playing a harmonica an hour into the film. kids are constantly moving seats during the credits during the film. WHY??! If i can’t hear The Batman’s theme song bc of your damn kids, it’s your fault that this movie theater sucks to be a customer of, as adults with full time jobs. Where are the parents??! i hate coming to this theater because of groups of 3-10 kids are ALWAYS being disrespectful for people who are trying to be at the movies…. idk how to fix it i just hate...
Read moreThis use to be one of my favorite theaters so it saddens me that the owners are really letting the place go. Bathrooms are literally falling a part and smell like pee. I thought this was a one time occurrence but no... paper towel dispensers are still hanging crooked on the walls and half the sinks don’t work, and that smell has not gone away.
The theater itself feels very outdated. For the same price I can go to Salt Lake, Orem or Provo and have reclining seats, updated screens and updated sound.
It’s also really inconvenient that one cannot purchase tickets online.
All that to say, I hope someone important reads this and starts considering updating and cleaning the place. It’s an awesome location, super convenient, so a little love and care would go a long way.
In the mean time I’ll be reclining at the Cinemark in University...
Read moreReally great to have a megaplex theater here in park city. Wasatch & summit county have been hankering for a great theater. This theater surely delivers on that quality. Although I am frustrated with my experience. Saw wicked with my parents this weekend, and the film was grossly quiet. We were sitting right by a speaker and nothing was coming out of it. All the sound was coming from the front of the theater, and it was quiet as heck. What is the point of having surround sound if you don’t set the settings right? It nearly the ruined the film for us. I’m also 80% sure that they had some projector setting wrong. Colors looked tainted at on certain highlights and shadows. Possible hdr settings gone wrong. This is exciting stuff but they have some quality control quirks that they need to work out. I hope somebody in...
