Great store. Unfortunately the manager dosent even understand their own policies or apparently dosent know how to use their own registers. I saw a cute side table set on clearance for 159.99 The price tag also said I could have a 20% discount off that if I open up a credit card. Making it 129.99. She (the manager) proceeds to tell me that the table set already is 129.99. I was confused but said sure. As I’m getting checked out for the rest of my stuff they (worker and manager) said the table will be 159.99. I told the sales associate that I spoke with the manager and she told me the 129.99 price by simultaneously showing her the price tag. His manager was next to him and told him to modify the price.
They tried for a few minutes and came to tell me that the system didn’t let them. The sales associate proceeds to tell me to read the tag. And I reminded him that his manager said that was the price. I told the manager to make sure she knows how to tell customers the actual price next time. I left a rug, set tables and other stuff from the store.($250+)
Before you tell me how to read make sure you know how to treat your customers. And know that your manager doesn’t know how to work the register, read price tags, and know how their credit card offers work. (I wanted to open a credit card but was told the 20% wasn't...
Read moreI love World Market and have shopped at the one in my home state for more than 10 years. The management here in Park City was absolutely awful. I went in to buy curtains and a wall picture. The pair of curtains were in one packaging that read one set, do not open. I inquired wi th the cashier about it and she said she had never seen it before. She fetched the general manager who proceeded to tell me they are obviously to be paid for separately . I suggested they should have been removed from the packaging so it was more clear for the customer to eliminate any confusion. I didnt mind paying for both. She became snarky and said well fine just give it to her for the one price. I think the way she handled the situation was uncalled for and made me want to take my businews elsewhere. I'll be shopping online...
Read moreI had no idea what to expect when walking into World Market. When I entered I found an array of art, food, furniture, and home goods that were absolutely unique.
After spending about 20 minutes just smelling all of the soaps and bath oils they had available, I wandered over to their furniture section that has a ton of unique items that fit in any home perfectly.
Moving onto the foods, I picked up some spices, hot sauces and teas that were all fantastically priced!
Overall a great experience and I can't wait...
