Batteries Plus Phone Repair — Attraction in South Strabane Township

The people were very nice there and they definitely meant well, but they advised me that the aftermarket iPhone screen replacement would behave the same as the original, would be slightly less in visual quality, and would not use any more of the battery than normal. None of these things are true based on my experience. The battery dies at least three times as fast as before. I can't make it through a whole day without a charge usually when I was going 3 to 4 days between charges before. The visual quality is noticeably different and deteriorated. And the screen behaves as if it was haunted. It makes selections when you're not even touching it. Sometime I can't tap it awake. I've had multiple instances where it just went black while I was on a video call and nothing I could do would activate the screen. It's really bad. I really think they were trying to help me there with a $240 repair instead of a $400 repair, but all I did was waste $200 because I can't use my phone like this. I just wanted to write this so people would be aware of this possibility, I will say though that I called the store and they are super accommodating about a refund and are going to take care of this, they also said that this one might just be a faulty screen, like a fluke. I was going to trade out my iPhone 6 for a new iPhone 7 because my 6 had a cracked screen. I also needed a new battery and could have gotten one from Apple for $29. Since I really like this phone, I made an appointment with Batteries Plus Bulbs to have my screen replaced. Bottom line is that in one hour, my phone was like new with a brand new screen and a new battery and the cost came in at around $100 and that included the new battery. I Dropped My Iphone 11 off there this morning, sadly I'm changing phones tomorrow, because of AT n Ts service, but boyfriend still wanted me to get my 11 fixed as a backup. They told me my devices screen would be fixed within an hour, they called me back within 40-45 minutes saying my screen was done. Remarkable job. I can see my boyfriend's photo clearly again on the lock screen lol. I will never break my screen like that again. Well. On purpose. But 10/10. Y'all...
