So I visited Batteries Plus in Washington yesterday after purchasing a used Nissan truck. I needed to get some new keys cut because the old owner gave me some keys in pretty bad shape. I was hoping to even get a key fob so the gentleman told me that yes we can get you a key fob. However, I can't program it right now because the programming person is not here which was number one point where I was frustrated. Why are you even open? If you cannot perform the service I am requesting? Why wouldn't someone be on staff to program at all times? Anyway, he told me to come by tomorrow which I did and I got to thinking this truck does not have power locks. How is a key fob going to work? So when I asked a new gentleman on my second visit, he said well we'll go ahead and make it. If it doesn't work, you don't have to take it. I said, I also wanted to get a regular key cut as well. So they made the key fob which obviously did not work so I told him just make me 2 regular keys. After he made the keys, we went outside to my truck to program them and he fiddled with it for a long time and then told me he cannot get my truck to go into programming mode. Then he finally realized that my truck does not require a chip key and no programming is required. It's nice that the employees here really know what they're doing. So when I went to try the keys that he had cut, they really did not work very well at all, they were really rough and you had to twist it several times to get it to either start the engine or open the door so I told him I did not want the keys and I will go to Nissan and he basically said I had to pay for them because they were a custom cut. I said I'm not purchasing them if I'm not happy with them don't you stand behind your product? He said, but they do work I said yes but you have to struggle with them. Anyway, after arguing back-and-forth he went inside and ground the key down again and came back and it worked a little bit better so I told him I would take one key. At that point he did not even try to make me pay for the second key that I was not taking which this totally contradicts in the beginning when they told me if I don't like the key fob, I don't have to take it. Anyway, they charged me $32 with tax for 1 key because they charged me for a transponder key with a chip even though I did not require the chip. I went to Nissan and got a second key cut for $7.50 that works perfect by the way, and again Batteries Plus charged me $32 for one key that was not the right key that did not work very well. Bottom line I was misled, overcharged, and told wrong information. I no longer have faith in the employees at this store, knowing what they're doing or that they're charging me a reasonable rate. I will not be back here. Lastly, I wasted approximately an hour of my...
Read moreI visited the store today to ask about a problem I was having with key fob not working properly. I was waited on by a saleswoman. She first referred me to another salesperson who she said could probably better help me. Then she started questioning me so rapidly that I couldnât even explain what was happening and she said, âitâs probably just the batteryâ - She quoted me just under $12 to replace the battery. I questioned why so high for this battery and was informed by the woman that itâs a âspecial batteryâ and that itâs not a common one and that their price also included installation. But when I stood at the counter and looked on Amazon - I can purchase a package of 5 of these batteries for $5.39!!!! I can appreciate a business needing to make a profit In order to operate, however, I do not see how these people can justify what theyâre charging. When I said, âthatâs ok, I donât think I want to purchase todayâ - I received a...

There was NO damage to phone and Apple did not refuse repair, however considering it was no longer under warranty, it would have been hundreds of dollars to replace the battery at Apple. The guy at Apple actually suggested I try one of these store because it would be much cheaper! Youâre liars and crooks and I hope you go out of business!!
Horrible customer service!!! Incompetent middle aged lady and 2 young boys refused to put a battery in my phone for repair, saying it was a âsoftware issueââŚ.. even after Apple told me it was the battery! Lady responds, Iâve never had to replace this models batteryâŚ.. my impression, she honestly had no idea how to replace it! Left and went down the road to there other store and they gladly replaced the battery and phone work perfect! DO NOT GO to these INCOMPETENT people at this location!...
