Amazing customer service and support! I recently encountered a quirky flaw in a recently purchased set of strings - a string broke right at the post as I was tuning things back up during the stabilization process. Nick was quick to reply to my email after I reached out to ask if they stocked individual strings for that set so I could replace the broken string. Turns out the manufacturer doesn't sell individual strings for that set, but Nick let me know Strings and Beyond was going to send a replacement set my way, which was generous because it wasn't a cheap set of strings. Nick also offered me advice on prepping and installing that particular set per the manufactures recommendations. Sounds like these strings just need a bit more attention during the installation and stabilization process. Rather than casting my situation aside as "user error", Strings and Beyond provided stellar customer service and support to help me get my rig up and running again with a fresh set of strings. They've won me over as a first time customer. I'll definitely be purchasing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered from them 6 weeks ago and the package seems lost in the mail. I paid for 3 to 5 day shipping knowing this isn't accurate. Weeks later I called and messaged numerous times.. Covid, usps and everything in the world caused the delay. Considering the customs tracking number was never processed at customs...the item is clearly lost. I then asked for a refund.. Which they refused as the said they can only investigate after 90 days with usps. I emailed them from the usps site that tracing requests can begin at 7 days post shipment and cannot be claimed after 90 days.
It seems that its more important to make me lose my money and lose me as a long term customer is more important then the small cost of customer service and loyalty building.
There are many other Strings by Mail options out there .. Give them all a look when you make a decision...

They blame it on USPS and told me that they have no control over shipping. If you have no control over shipping, then don't promise people 2-4 days. Rude customer service agent, who told me I should have paid the $35 shipping fee if I wanted them faster. And no...more lies from you!!! This package was not at the post office as of 12/6!!!! Don't let their fake replies make you change your mind about the fact that they wrote me privately and told me I should have opted for a $35 delivery option!!!! Like that's practical! Maybe for a rich guy like you, who sits and does nothing all day, but not for a hard working guy with 2 jobs, who just wants his strings during the time frame you...
