I feel an overwhelming need to share my most recent experience. My little guy and I walked into For Heaven Sake looking for a medallion of St Nicholas of Myra. I come to learn he is the Saint that protects and defends children. My son and I walked around and looked at all the beautiful items within the store. What I come to observe is that my son repeatedly noticed Archangel Michael all throughout the store, over over again. My son than started to interact with Lynn. As we proceeded to look around, Jake found himself going back to Lynn quite a few times with questions. Without any hesitation, Lynn was there to support unconditionally my sons curiosities. It was notably Lynn’s kind, gentle, loving patience that made my son feel safe to learn. We gathered up our purchases and proceeded to checkout. Lynn then looked at my son and said, “I have a little gift for you”. It was a small prayer card of Archangel Michael. My son was glowing in gratitude. In closing, I would like to share that I looked at Lynn and said, “Lynn, your patience and caring has been a profound blessing to us today, Thank you”. Needless to say that this is a beautiful establishment and is certainly a beautiful place for children and adults, and Lynn’s Patience and Love aided in my son and I healing today. For Heaven Sake has an incredible variety of children’s items suitable for baptism or First Holy Communion gifts, as well as children’s books and other items suitable for less momentous occasions. Having visited primarily for gift-giving, I haven’t really scratched the surface of their adult-oriented library and devotional items, but at cursory glance their inventory is extensive. They donate $1 to your parish for each visit you make, so be sure to sign in with your parish’s name ! What a lovely touch. I hope to visit this store many more times in the future! I was extremely impressed by this store. From the outside it seems like a cozy little store. However, when you go in they have everything you could imagine. It was amazing. They had specialty items,Saints A to Z, Beautiful statues and everything else you wouldn't even think of. Very hard to find a Christian store like this. Highly recommend this store. A gem.
