Michaels — Attraction in Spring Township

I went into Michael's yesterday (1/18/17) for the first time in several years, probably 5 or 6 at least. The store is large and bright, with several pre-made craft items on display at the entrance. I assume these are for inspiration or ideas, as well as for sale because they all had price tags on them - and they were not cheap!! I went there looking for one item only - 3/4" round, peel & stick magnets. However, I had some time on my hands so I decided to walk around and see what I've been missing. There's a large selection of craft supplies to choose from, as well as craft storage, home decor, gift items, decorative storage boxes/baskets, wedding supplies, picture frames and more! Prices were pretty much what you would expect, especially because they tend to have a lot of items/categories on sale for 40% or more off. The one item I went there for, they didn't have. They had magnetic circles, but they were the heavy ceramic type. Something that I was told that could be found at a craft supply store "such as Michael's or AC Moore" was not found. One more thing to add - I only saw one store employee while shopping and she whizzed by me without a "hello" or "can I help you...

2nd time here and I will have to say the service was terrible. The first time a item was "mis marked" but there was 2 entire display of said item clearly marked the same at opposite ends of the store. Craft carts for $40 but it rang up $50 I asked to speak to a manager was told she would be a bit. 20 minutes later the "manager" came over and told me there was nothing she could do. I was already spending over a $100 and didn't want to just walk out so I let it go. Today I figured id give it another go and placed a online order 2 hours later still waiting for it to be ready and so I figured I would go in. I asked the cashier if my order was ready she told me no she was busy. There were clearly 4 other staff members on the sales floor. I went and got my 2 Lego molds and showed her my order receipt and asked if I was okay to go. She said no you can buy them now and when your order is ready you can come back and return the other one with my receipt. I will not be returning if this is the normal...

Horrible customer service starting from the manager finalizing with the employees. I called asking info on my order, and if the store open at 9am any given day. I was transferred to the manager and then the manager decides to hang up. I'm calling to ask about a convinient time to do a pick up and it seemed impossible to get that question answered. I do not want to expose my son to Covid 19 by staying outside too long. He is a cancer patient and the last thing I want is to compromise his health. The item will be a good necesity to store his medical needs. The employee came on to say, "what do you want us to do". In addition, Im just looking for the last day to pick up the order then. Finally she looks up my order and says you have until Saturday and we open at 9am. That was the answer I was looking for. I felt disrespected by the employee and manager because they were saying rude things and alot of nonsense. It took me asking again and patience to get my answer. The 3 ladies...
