I will NEVER shop here again. I came to check out the location and I usually get furniture at Ashley’s or bobs. I needed a gray sectional in which about 2-3 sales members helped me. I asked them if they have any other designs/ kinds, and they collectively said this is all they have in what I want (gray big sectional). Mind you I have never shopped here before so I figured this is my last option as I have not been able to find a big gray sectional within my budget of 3-5k.
They come to deliver the first time, absolutely wrong placement. I call them I’m given a run around. And then I had to schedule another delivery and keep their wrong pieces. Second delivery comes and again absolutely the wrong pieces. They delivered not a sectional but a literal straight line of couches. Then they argue with me saying they have to take my pillows according to the pieces they delivered vs what I got. I was fine with that until they were taking all the pillows. I had the driver call the manager and he said are we going to do this all over pillows? Let them keep it. I don’t think he knows I overheard him. End of the day it’s NOT the drivers faults. It once again is the stores fault. And once again I have to keep this delivery. On the third time they finally deliver the pieces.
You would think I’m happy by now right? Unfortunately wrong. I needed a table for the set. I go to a DIFFERENT location. And that location has 3-4 different sofas that I was looking for. I told them my situation and asked how they have more and it turns out the location I went to aka apple city? They just wanted to make their money and give me something. I decided to call the manager after the stress they put us through, because what I wanted they had all along just not in their show room. He said it’s too late because they already delivered the parts. But it doesn’t make sense. I had to keep YOUR guys wrong parts for weeks until you gave me the right parts. I have not even sat on these sofas so why can I not exchange? I’m willing to pay the price difference as what I wanted other stores of this name brand have just not then at Apple city.
Unfortunately they did not help me and also it was the same manager who pretty much said too bad so sad.

Read moreMy shopping experience at this store was great thanks to Matt and Clay. We were able to pick furniture that we liked, but had to pick it up ourselves since we were moving out of state.
We picked up our furniture a week later, other people at the store helped load the furniture into our truck and checked everything off their list. A few days later we get a call that one piece of furniture was still there and had not been picked up. I requested a refund since we were now 700 miles away and I was told that it would be put through. This is where our disaster began.
It took less than 24 hours for our bank card to be charged in full for all the furniture. It is 5 weeks since I requested a refund and still have no money. I have made 7 phone calls to the store with a different story each time. First time they are waiting until my furniture gets back to the warehouse. Second time my furniture has been received, but now has to be approved by finance. Third time, there are so many refunds to be put through that mine is just waiting in line. 8/27 - problem with the card so I updated the number (the same card I purchased my furniture with and was on file). 9/3 - still no refund, call the store, it is being processed. 9/6 - no refund, call the store, everything has been approved and I should receive funds within 72 hours. 9/13 - no refund, call the store, everything is approved and I should receive funds within 72 hours. 9/15 - no refund (surprise!), call the store and talk to Karen, one of the managers who proceeds to tell me that now it is "fully approved", also tells me that no one told me that I would receive funds within 72 hours. When I explained that I have been told this by 2 different people, she pretty much calls me a liar and says that no one told me that. I remind her that at least one call was on a recorded line.
The furniture may be decent quality, but the customer service (other than Matt and Clay at the York, PA location) is absolute bottom...
Read moreI was looking for a standing desk and instead of purchasing it online and worrying about the service, I went to the local store here in York to purchase it, in the hopes that the local service will be a lot more reliable and responsive.
Well, they proved me wrong. The super-heavy desk was delivered on time, but was not put in place because my old desk wasn't removed and I was never told to remove it myself, so I fully expected the delivery men to help with that.
Not only was the desk in the middle of my office now, but I couldn't hook it up either (it wasn't obvious that there are actually two power cords there, and both needed to be plugged in). The desk is super heavy, not possible to move it on our own.
I called the service, scheduled a technician to come out, but two weeks later I got a message that the technician won't be coming due to a medical emergency. I took a day off work (because they gave me an 8-4pm window) and effectively lost that day.
I rescheduled it and waited ANOTHER two weeks (which is today) and just got a call that the technician has a family emergency and will not be coming - AGAIN! - and they're sending a team to me tomorrow from 8-11. So that's a 3rd day I'd have to ask off work!
Will NEVER buy anything from them again. Service was the #1 thing I was looking for when purchasing locally, and they failed, with my new desk (which my husband got for my birthday) just standing useless in the middle of my office for a whole month!
P.S. We finally figured it out on our own, moved it with a help of a friend, and discovered the 2nd power cable so it started to work. I am afraid to think what happens if we need service for it in the future.
