Claw City — Attraction in Springfield

TLDR; awesome place for some serotonin and cute plushies with nice staff! Card is $2!

The beginning of my visit started off rough. I tried to use the kiosk with cash and realized that was a mistake - it does not give cash back but also won’t take the cash over the amount, so it gets stuck in limbo. The staff were AMAZING and so HELPFUL in helping me load all my cash in the card and get all my tokens on there for the bonus amount of tokens. If you have cash just go to the back and get your card there! I immediately won my first item my very first go. The claws give a nice enough challenge to get you excited but not so hard you want to give up and feel hopeless. I even got 2 plushies in one go! Make sure to utilize their trading offer (I didn’t want to but it’s probably really beneficial for kiddos with smaller items). They have some snacks for sale but currently no water/beverages. I was personally very hot in there - it’s a bit cramped. My sensory folks: bring ear plugs or muffs, it’s loud with the screaming kids, some crying to stay, the game noises, and the music being played, and bright lights. Mobility folks: I’m sure ADA compliant however I would not recommend a wheelchair honestly during a busy time. Front desk is also very high off the ground. No bench or chairs to sit on either. Springfield Claw City is amazing! Staff is friendly and helpful! The claws are not easy but not hard, they definitely have a good balance to help you feel like you're winning but of course the company makes their money. They don't make you feel ripped off like the claws around town in stores, restaurants, round one, ect. I will forever go here! They have awesome deal days, great staff, amazing products for kids, there's never a time we leave here disappointed. 🥰 We are very happy with our experience here in Springfield. Always happy with our winnings, and our kiddos love the new cotton candy machine!!

Side note: We have tried other locations. The Arcade in Lincoln City is okay, we definitely had a good time and they had different machines, which was fun. The Claw City in Tigard is TERRIBLE!! NEVER GO TO TIGARD. They staff is not friendly if you say you're from Springfield, you can see my review on their page. The machines in Tigard are different, way faster, hit the top harder, jolt way more than Springfield. The Owner of Tigard will say they are the same, they ARE NOT.
