Helzberg Diamonds — Attraction in Springfield

I had a fantastic experience with Helzberg in Battlefield Mall, and I can confidently say they’ve gained a lifelong customer.

Back on Black Friday, I found a beautiful wedding band at a great sale price, for my April wedding. While I liked it at the time, I quickly had buyer’s remorse, but decided to sit with my decision. Fast forward to just before Valentine’s Day, and I found another ring at the same store that I absolutely loved, one that felt perfect for me.

I brought back the original ring, unworn and in perfect condition, and asked if I could exchange it. I completely understood their return policy, so when they initially said no, I didn’t fault them at all… it was my mistake, not theirs. However, I later called and spoke with Jeremiah, the manager, and that’s where Helzberg truly showed their outstanding customer service.

Jeremiah listened, understood my situation, and went above and beyond to make things right. He didn’t hold my mistake against me and worked with me to ensure I could have my dream ring in the end. That level of customer care is rare, and it meant so much to me during such an important time in my life.

Alrighty, so I can't give all of the details as to why I was in here as my the reason is as of now a secret and I can't let the info leak out to someone as that would be rude on my part, but here is what I saw here.

So, jewelery shops are a little pricey, that is well known. I decided that I would look at watches while my friend was there for jewelery. They didn't have anything that caught my eye. My friend looked at a cone jewelery which was around $800 I'm no expert in jewels so I couldn't help him out. The person working was urging him to purchase it, or at least put it on hold. He politely declined and then we checked out another store.

We later found out that this store increased their prices substantially before 'Going out of business' sale prices kicked in. So basically, they starting changing 5 times as much then gave a 90% discount so that it looked like you were saving tons and tons of money when in reality the item only costs 1 mortgage instead of two.

Now, that last sentence is entirely what I was told and I have no proof of it beyond their competition saying this so take that for what you will. I'm not assigning a rating based on heresay.

My largest issue is that every other store we checked out, for $800 we could get a notably better item or items. I recommend checking with other places prices before settling for...

We got engaged on Christmas in a very special place! As is normal, my engagement ring ended up being way too big, and the box we purchased broke while we were on our multi-week European vacation.
