The Moxie is a block away from my favorite multiplex, but sometimes the movies I don't get to see until Blu-ray don't get shown there. So it's worth keeping an eye on The Moxie, which runs special events and short runs of independent movies, or the smaller ones that aren't raking in millions at the box office but have a lot to say and can be quite the experience.
I attended a screening of Judy and bought a small popcorn to enjoy. The Moxie only has two auditoriums, which are on the smaller size, but are clean and have comfortable seats. Pretty sure the guy behind me was chewing sunflower seeds for the last hour of the movie. And the staff will make absolutely no effort to ensure that human adults will act like human adults and stay quiet throughout the movie. I'd rather sit through Gone With the Wind in a room full of infants than any given movie here with adults, because at least then I could say the infants don't know any better.
