My kid begged me to do mini golf after our pedal boat ride, but we chose not to play. We did speak a great 30 min out on the water, though. I even jumped in the water it was so warm out! The boats were clean and everything was in working order. The level to control steering came out of place while we were out, though. We popped it back in and kept going. My kid couldn't reach the pedals, so I had a great workout. We would paddle down to the bridge, then back up the the buoys, multiple times. It was fun but exhausting. I was half happy when our 30 min was up. Definitely go on a smooth day if you won't have much pedaling help. Sometimes I could barely move anywhere. Beware if the St. Charles Paddle Boats. Even though pedal boats don't move fast, especially on choppy water, the larger boats expect you to move. We were almost hit twice and I was very conscious of where we were. I even saw the boat coming, moved to a spot where the boat wouldn't steer, and just sat there. The boat still came straight towards us. Trying to run away pedal away from a boat...
Read morePassed by many times on walks in the area, decided to take the children mini golfing here, since we try to get to most courses we see. These courses are bad, aside from the walls being made of loose (and missing) bricks. The course was filled with leaves, twigs, pebbles, woodchips. There was more than enough staff on to brush or sweep the green. Also there huge puddles of water and mud at a hole because of a water fall set up they have not prevented it from leaking over onto the green. Maintenence needed!!! Will not be going back unless i notice improvements are made when walking by...
Read moreEnjoyable fairly easy course with some navigable water traps. $7 for adult $6 for our 11 year old. Lots of ball color choices which was great for our group of five golfers. Plenty of shade on the course. Well maintained and a decent course but not too challenging. Spin the wheel on some holes for an added challenge (golf with one hand, standing on one foot, etc.). Lots of golfers but no waiting for our turn even in the middle of the day on a Saturday. Perfect early afternoon activity after our picnic lunch in the park. We found at least half a dozen “lost” balls around as we...
