First, staff was great. Friendly, attentive, responsive.

The breakfast though was about as poor as I have had... ever... anywhere.

I had the Huevos Rancheros. It was a bit shocking when it came out. I've never seen Huevos look so unappealing. The could pico de gallo thrown on top did not help. The bread that came with it (perhaps that should have been a red flag... bread with Huevos??) was dry. I had to ask for butter and they only had the packets of butter from the fridge, which means they are cold and solid and can't be spread without tearing up the bread. The chocolate milk was milk. I think they may have set it next to some chololate syrup and thought nature just might take care of it.

It should be noted that the atmosphere is good and, as I mentioned, the staff was great. Given the other reviews, perhaps it is just breakfast that is bad, or perhaps just the Huevos. However, my experience had the food being...

Although the food was mostly good, the overall experience was not great. I ordered the rib-eye steak and eggs, order of biscuit and gravy, and a hot chocolate. The person that answered the phone was giving very short answers, didn't ask for my information, nor did she give me a total. I get to the restaurant and it appears I was the only one with an order to go, my card was taken and charged, and I was handed my bag. I had to ask for the hot chocolate and the whipped cream on top.

I get back to my hotel to find the steak is very thin and dry. The eggs and hashbrowns were fantastic. But, the biscuit (photo attached) was clearly meant to be a sandwich of some kind where the egg and meat were taken out. This is a bit unsettling, but nothing seemed "gross" so I ate it. It was a great biscuit.

Overall, the food was decent outside of exceptions but the take-out service...

I ordered my eggs on the huevos rancheros over medium they came out slimed white runny so much 🤢 couldn't eat them. Gave it back to them them they didn't offer to fix it just offered something else and charged me for the raw food and fruit bowl I ordered to at least eat something. The gal appearing to be the manager could be heard saying she tried some of it and ate some so I'm charging for her for it. I ate three bites to try if I could stomach some cause it took 15/20 min for her to check on the food with us and woulda taken 20 min to get a new one. Sadly I as a local here I don't think I'll ever come back. Not the place I used to know anymore. Even my fruit was over ripe and sad.
