Unfortunately I had a really bad experience today. As I went to the cashier to pay, my mom asked the cashier if she could scan on item to see the price of it because she wasnt sure if it was on sale or not so she wanted to make sure but the Cashier supposely her name is "Ursula" in a very bad mood showed her the price on the item on told her in a bad way the same price the was showing the sticker so I stepped in and told her that we know what the price says on the sticker but asked her to scan it to see it on the system to make sure that it was the same price or probably less since we got it from a Sale Section, so Ursula (the cashier) says that she wasnt allowed to scan the item to check the price ( that was nonscense) and if she did scan to check the price we would have to buy it... And I told her that what she was saying didnt make any sense that in other opportunities I would ask to check the price and it was no big deal ( in any store the cashiers can check the price of the items without having to buy it)....so in that moment I asked for a Manager which Nahra R. Showed up that was in a other cashier near Ursula and I explained to her that Ursula was being very rude and giving a really bad customer service cuz didnt want to scan an item on the system to check the price... Surprisingly Nahra the Supervisor also said the same thing defending the cashier...that she wasnt able to check the price if we weren't gonna take it... She said that if she scans the item to see the price and we didnt buy it than they lose ( not really sure what she meant) but she started to make things up. Can't believe they have people working with such bad customer service and plus having someone like Nahra in charge as a Supervisor of the store. They made such a big deal out of nothing. Just because Ursula did not want to scan the price only because she didnt feel like it. Made us have a very bad experience. Will be going back to talk to...
Read moreThis store has hangers everywhere all over the ground at all times. The employee was reading the makeup and beauty products instead of working and picking things up and another was texting on her phone. Got a few baby items like onesies and socks. One of the 6 pair of socks only had 5 (someone had ripped one off). And i couldn't find the same kind. And I needed that pack because it was the only pack that had both black and white. And then there was a construction onesie (my husband is in construction) and I really wanted it. But the tag said it came with 3 onesies instead of 1. So I went up to the counter and brought up all my purchases, I asked them what they could do for me with those two items. And I told them I looked for the missing socks and the other onesies. And they said that they were going to go back and go look for them anyway. (As if they didn't trust me.) About 20 minutes later, with a line that went up to the door, they came back and told me they couldn't find them. (As if I hadn't told them already.) Manager told them to just mark them down and brushed the situation off and left. What did it take to do that in the first place so you can save time and take other customers. They took a few dollars off of each item but just all looked annoyed. I'm sorry, but maybe they should have employees on the floor actually WORKING and noticing these things and picking up the hangers I was running over with my stroller every 2 minutes. And putting the right size clothes in the right areas as well. This place needs professionalism and people with smiles that greet customers. I've been in customer service and retail for years in Illinois and never have I seen...
Read moreAVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. I went shopping only to find my car missing from the parking lot when I walked out. It turns out that 3 other women had the same thing happen to them that day. One woman called the police, because she legitimately thought someone stole her car. I went back inside and asked to speak with management to try to figure out what was going on, and the store was too understaffed to have anyone who would care enough to help me figure out what was going on.
To add to that, I have timed the waitlines, and I have once waited 40 minutes in the check out line.
It's not worth the hassle to shop here. Predatory tow truck drivers will single out unsuspecting women or tourists in the area and snatch their car without any explanations. The best part was that the tow truck company (Dolphin Towing and Recovery) was telling different towing ticket prices to every woman. (One lady called the company and was told she owed $180, and then when she arrived at the towing place, she was told $210. We only recieved a solid answer on the price ($145) of the towing ticket once the police arrived and discussed matters with the tow truck company.)
The only sign posted on the storefront doesn't specify what exactly an unauthorized vehicle is, but as a paying customer at Marshall's, you would think that you are authorized to shop in peace without having your car snatched up while waiting in an eternal checkout line.
If you prefer a safe and pleasant shopping experience, avoid this...
