First time we came to eat at this place we ordered Lamb ribs kebabs, regular beef kebab’s , lentil’s soup, salad with grilled vegetables and it was so delicious, server was Kostya was attending us, which was very helpful and nice. Everything was very quick and good. We decided to come back again to this place because we felt we found a great spot. My husband and I ordered humus, same grilles salad ,lentil’s soup and lamb ribs kebab. Place was totally empty it was just 2 of us. Kostya started attending us. Looks like he was in a bad mood or annoyed so it was affecting us because he was in a rush.i asked him multiple times to bring food in a order and separately and he didn’t. Humus was terrible, no taste at all, usually its made of cheak peas and you can feel the taste , this wasn’t the case. This humus tasted like cream soup or something like that. When Kostya brought lamb kebabs they looked very dry, we asked him if it was deep fried since they taste very crispy ( exactly when you deep fry it) he said not it was grilled. Kebabs were so dry and overcooked it was impossible to eat. We asked him to change it and mentioned that it was very overcooked. He did bring us new ones and it was completely different. It was perfectly cooked but it was nothing but fat. Barely any meat was there. Also he mentioned they run out of tomato sauce which usually served with kebabs. We paid for the service which was included in the bill but honestly the service was non existent. Remembering the first time when we got and everything was so good: food, service and friendly people. This time he was either mad or had a bad day so we had to pay for it. I had to ask few times for new plates or extra onions the guy was really mad throwing dirty plates in a disposable trash. We left very dissapointed and hungry. Bad service, bad food and bad vibes. Never go back and never...
Read moreThis place was pretty good. Our server, Daniel, was friendly and helpful. I wanted a beer but didn’t know which one I wanted of their three German options, so he gave me his recommendation (Spaten) and it hit the spot. For dinner I got a shawarma platter of lamb and chicken, with rice. It was mostly lamb, but both meats were good. I liked the lamb more, so I was happy that was the majority. The rice was pretty flavorful too, and the side salad it comes on/with paired nicely with it. My wife got the shakshuka shawarma, because she loves shakshuka. It was pretty good! It was interesting and different compared to the other shakshuka we have had, since it was topped with lamb, but it worked. The lavash it came with was OK, but the main dish was still really good. The food was good, the service was good, and the prices were good, but there are two reasons for this review being four stars instead of five. First, the water service could have been better. They only give water when requested, which is fine because I’m all for saving water, but they only give a very small cup, and in a disposable cup. It was just odd to not have a normal glass of water with dinner. Second, the timing of the food coming out was not great. My wife’s shakshuka took a bit to cook (as it should since it takes some time when made fresh), but my shawarma plate came out nearly right away. It makes sense that mine came out so quick, since shawarma is a quick dish to prepare, but since it is so quick, they should have waited until closer to when my wife’s dish was ready. Instead, I sat awkwardly waiting, letting it cool, then we decided I should eat it instead of waiting, and then I was almost done by the time she got her dinner. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town. And if they iron out the water and timing issues, it will be five...
Read moreOn a recent visit to Mangal Grill, my expectations were not only met but far exceeded, thanks to their reputation for serving the best shashlik and meat dishes in Miami. From the moment we entered, the aroma of grilling meats promised a culinary journey we were eager to embark upon.
Mangal Grill is celebrated for its mastery in preparing shashlik, a traditional skewered meat that is a staple in many cuisines. It was evident from the first bite that the chefs here are artisans of their craft. The meat was marinated to perfection, tender, juicy, and bursting with flavors that danced on the palate. Each skewer was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and tradition, making it clear why Mangal Grill is touted as offering the best meat in the city.
Another highlight of our meal was the shawarma. Expertly seasoned and cooked, the shawarma was enveloped in a soft, warm bread, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a tangy sauce that elevated the dish to new heights. It was, without a doubt, among the best I've ever had, demonstrating a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
The ambiance of Mangal Grill complements its culinary delights. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home, while the attentive and friendly staff ensured our dining experience was exceptional. Their recommendations from the menu were spot-on, and their service was impeccable throughout our visit.
Not to be overlooked are the vegetarian options, which are crafted with the same care and attention to detail as their meat dishes. The grilled vegetable platter was a standout, showcasing a variety of seasonal vegetables that were both vibrant and flavorful.
In conclusion, Mangal Grill is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best shashlik and meat in Miami. The combination of their culinary...
