Chayhana Oasis — Restaurant in Sunny Isles Beach

I wanted to share my experience and warn everyone to STAY AWAY from Chayhana Oasis Resturaunt if you don’t want to be CHEATED and LIED to. This past weekend I had an event planned at Chayhana Oasis. I spoke with the manager Shahida three weeks in advance to plan and book the event. We came to an agreement that I would buy the wine and some champagne from her and the rest I would bring myself in order not to be charged the ridiculous $30/bottle corkage fee. The day before the party, the party planner drops off the alcohol and she was told by Shahida that I would have to pay a corkage fee because hard liquor does not count as 50/50 even though I already bought 16 bottles of alcohol from the Resturaunt per our agreement. When I called and spoke to her she hung up on me, very unprofessional . She did start texting me for the next two hours back and forth trying to extort more money from me and trying to get me to pay her ridiculous alcohol prices , I finally had to tell her that I would take my party somewhere else. She finally agree to our Origional agreement after the threat of losing a party of 50 people. I am glad that I had everything in writing to check the bill against at the end of the night . The day of the party, I have to say everything started out amazing. The surprise went off great , the food was delicious ! And the 2 wait staff assigned to our party was very attentive and very quick to tend to everyone’s needs and requests. Then it came time to pay the bill, and I see almost $500 charged for Aquapana water and Sanpellegrino along with some individual glasses of wine. When I questioned the waitress about the charges, her answer was well your guests requested it. I ordered the $125/person banquet which includes all types of water, soda, and juices. So Shahida came outside and started blaming and questioning the poor wait staff that worked so hard all night as to why they didn’t ask permission from me or her to place bottles of water instead of pitchers of water. I am sure it was placed on the bill at her direction thinking that I would be drunk and not notice this thievery. She said that she would remove the charges and when she came back with an adjusted bill she changed the Martini and Rossi Asti bottles to a more expensive Prosecco again thinking I wouldn’t notice. She was trying to cheat me down to the last minute. I spent almost an hour there extra fighting with Shahida before I could pay the correct amount that I owed. Instead of leaving happy and excited after a great party, I left stressed and angry, never wanting to come back to the resturaunt ever again. Review of Chayhana Oasis – Sunny Isles I recently dined at Chayhana Oasis, located at 250 Sunny Isles Boulevard, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160, and I must say, the experience was delightful. The restaurant has a welcoming ambiance, perfect for a group gathering, as I was dining with a party of seven. We were seated at Table 27, and our server, Ruslan P, was attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly. The menu offered a variety of dishes, and we ordered a good mix to share. The drinks were refreshing—two Cokes, a pitcher of Pellegrino, a Lychee Martini, and three Margaritas, all of which were well-prepared and complemented our meal. We also had a Green Tea to round things off, which was a nice touch. For food, we started with lighter options like the Achichuk Salad and Tashkent Salad, both fresh and flavorful, setting a great tone for the meal. The Potatoes with Mushrooms were a hearty side, perfectly cooked with a rich, earthy taste. The main courses were the highlight—three orders of Lamb Ribs Kebab, two orders of Lamb Kebab, three orders of Chicken Kebab, and two orders of Liver Kebab. Everything was grilled to perfection, tender, and packed with authentic flavors that showcased the restaurant’s Central Asian roots. Each dish was seasoned well, and the portions were generous, making it a satisfying meal for our group. The service was prompt, and the staff handled our large party with ease. The bill came out to $498.96, including an 18% service fee, which felt reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. Overall, everything was good—great food, solid service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend Chayhana Oasis for anyone looking to enjoy a flavorful meal in Sunny Isles....

I love the Chayhana Oasis. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Miami! Entering the restaurant it feels like you are not in Miami anymore but in Russia or Uzbekistan. It feels like coming home… The ambience is amazing and they have a lot of outside seating as well as air conditioned indoor seating but I would always recommend to reserve a table and sit on the outside although the car traffic can be bothersome sometimes. The food itself is also amazing. We had the Pilaf Rice and the beef and chicken Skewers for our mains that we split across the table and, some homemade Khachapuri (filled cheese bread) and Pelmeni. The meal was wonderfully presented by our servers after only waiting for about half an hour. From all the different grilled meats I have eaten from all my trips around the world I can confidently say their beef and chicken skewers are the best by a landslide! They are so flavorful, juicy and smoky it is unbelievable! It reminded me of the summers that I spent in my home country of Belarus on my family’s little farm just outside of Minsk where we used to grill fresh Shashlik-Skewers and throw big parties in the evening…! A portion of the grilled meats always comes with two skewers which could feed two people easily but they are just too damn delicious to share… The Sumac Onions and their Sauce accompanies the Shashlik beautifully and so do all other sides such as the Pilaf Rice wich is packed with flavor and comes in a generous portion. To top off this amazing experience we ordered the Baklava and the Medovik (Honey Buttercream Cake) which tasted amazing also!
