This establishment was a lot better in quality of the food , and prices under the previous Owner managemet. I ordered to pick last week and was totally disappointed with the "Chicharones de Pollo " which is deep fried chicken chunks . I was surprised to see that the Bistro gave me fried chicken strips with soggy French fries and I paid $15.00 not a good value. The other meal in my order was Sizzling Saueeted Steak this was also not a good value for the $17.00 very little steak , but a lot of onions and peppers. If there were more STARS 🌟 🤩 ✨️ this establishment deserves 😤 👏 it the transformed itself into a "MUST VISIT " PERUVIAN Gourmet restaurant. How so you may ask me? Well let's start with the new 👨‍🍳 Chef Horpeue Markos that has introduced into the average menu selection into a high quality taste ,presentation and more 👌 😉 😀 😄 value for your money 💰 🤑 💸. I.E. the appetizer "Conchitas al la Parmesion [ scallops on a conch shell bake with parmesion cheese ] exquisite 👌 😋 ♥️ 😍 😄 😀 Secondly the service with Juan Jose and Alonzo providing not only 5 plus stars ✨️ 😎 👌 😍 rating service but a real genuine "VIBE". I...

I've lived in sunny isles for 3 years now, I've come to this place over 50 times, and I never have an issue. The other day I went there after a long day of work, and the server Antoinette told me the kitchen closes at 9:30pm. I told her okay can we order or is it to late she said no we can order. So I simply asked for a lomo saltado extra sauce, because I really enjoy sauce. She then said no it comes the way it comes, I told her I've ordered this dish multiple times and never have an issue. She said well it comes on a big dish, and it comes out the way it does. I manage restaurants for a living, literally 5 star restaurants and never have I ever denied a request so simple. Not only that, but the way she handled and spoke to me was extremely rude. I really think you need to retrain her how to deal with guest. We are the ones that keeps you open. I ended up going to Cvi.Che 105 in Aventura, and they took care of the order without a question. So yeah I won't be going back ever again, and I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone of my guest like I've done over 100 times. So thank you Antoinette for your...

I got the causas trio. Chicken tuna and squid. Must’ve been cooked by the servers. It serves can tuna salad on top of the mashed thing, it serves chicken salad on top of the mashed thing and it serves three slices of canned squid with some purple sauce on top of the mashed thing. And they charge $19 for this Walmart recipe, plus tax plus the credit card up charge. Literally a teaspoon of leftovers cooked with mayo on top of some other mashed leftovers. If some chef came up with this sad ridiculous recipe, then it’s not a real chef or they learned how to cook in the parking lot at Walmart. The menu says chicken tuna and squid. Doesn’t say chicken salad, tuna salad or canned food. What a joke of a “restaurant”. All the other restaurants around this place were packed, the Peruvian had one table sat inside and one table sat on the patio. That should’ve speak to me about the quality of this low quality eatery. When you’re Cooking canned food for customers at least do a better presentation and try to hide that you lack quality. Or not. Maybe that’s the Peruvian food...

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem. It was super simple to make a reservation a couple of days before. I called and was immediately helped. When we got there, our table was ready for us (we were 18 people). The staff was absolutely amazing. I know it’s not the easiest attending a large group, but they were so nice and did so great helping all of us. We were there to celebrate my mom’s birthday so our waiter asked my sister and I to text him a couple of photos of my mom. We did, and he got my mom the best drink ever! Her photo was on the drink and it was absolutely amazing. She didn’t even want to drink it! Haha. We were blown away by the detail provided by this restaurant. I honestly wish I had taken more pictures of the food. We all ordered a little bit of everything and it was all so delicious. The pricing is also pretty great! I only wish they had better drink specials, like buckets of beer and pitchers of pisco sour. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much for making my mom’s birthday lunch the best ever!

I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that introduce me to new flavors from around the world, and this place is a true gem. We started with the ceviche, which had a mild spice and was made with incredibly fresh, super white fish—absolutely delicious. Next, we tried the pulpo anticuchero. I love octopus, and this dish was masterfully prepared. The marinade was phenomenal, giving the octopus a beautifully subtle flavor after being grilled or baked. Being coastal folks, we were drawn to the seafood and ordered the whole fried red snapper. It turned out to be an excellent choice—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. To finish, we had lucuma ice cream. I had never heard of lucuma before, but it was a delightful surprise—nutty, creamy, and with a caramel-like taste. As for the price, our total came to just over $130 before tip for two people, which felt reasonable for the quality and experience. If you enjoy exploring global flavors, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. You're going to love it!

I have had multiple disappointing experiences with El Tayta Restaurant. My most recent visit was particularly frustrating. When my husband picked up our to-go order, they failed to include our two drinks. When I called to address the issue, the person who answered the phone was rude and hung up on me. After calling back and requesting to speak to the manager, I was met with more rudeness and a complete lack of customer service. The manager blamed us for not requesting the drinks and refused to take any corrective action, even suggesting that we eat elsewhere if we weren't satisfied. To make matters worse, my food was contaminated with hair, and I have attached a picture as evidence.
