I would rate this place a zero if I could.
Mind you, I've been here twice before, and I wasn't all fully satisfied. So I decided to give it one more try.
It all started with lies and ended with not giving me a refund/credit. Let me tell you what happened..
I went In. I picked the colors and design. They started my nails, and it was all down hill from there.
I wanted a gradient design on my nails, and gems on my big toes. They finished my nails and toes... and they were awful.
Why? Because I showed them two Instagram pictures from their own account expecting the nails to look almost exactly like the pictures, and they didn't even look close to similar.
BIG TOES: The gems on the toes are a lot bigger in the Instagram picture. They told me that they didn't have the bigger gems AFTER they finished putting the smaller gems on my toes. They never asked me if it was okay to use smaller gems. And the lady told me that the gems looked bigger in the picture because the picture was "zoomed in" (LIE #1). I'm not stupid. I know the difference between big and small. The size differences in the gems make the entire look different.
NAILS: The Instagram picture had a beautiful, SMOOTH gradient look. My nails looked blotchy, uneven, and just straight up horrible. And the lady told me that the picture looked smoother because of a FILTER. First of all, why would you put a filter on the picture? It wouldn't be true to its nail color (LIE #2). I am well acquainted with professional photographers, and I confidently know that a filter will not make the texture of a nail design look beyond smoother than what it looks like in reality (unless you majorly photoshop).
I usually don't like having anyone re-do my nails even though I'm not fully satisfied. But today was another story. I paid, stepped out to my car, sat there and looked at my nails, and couldn't imagine myself staring at them for two weeks.
So I stepped back into the salon, and told them honestly that I did not like my nails or my big toes. They re-did them for me (I just got plain colors). And at the end, the lady told me that they couldn't give me a refund. So I asked for a store credit. They said no and handed me 3 $5 off coupons, which was not even close to the store credit I should have received.
So overall, I paid almost $100 for more stress.
Ladies, Gents, please think wisely before going to this salon. I went for the third time, and I wasted my hard earned money to liars. I'm glad that it was only my third time coming here because I didn't waste more money.
I guess third...
Read moreI have been going here for the last 7 months. I have faced a few red flags but let go of it for the quality of the service they do. But today I had to choose between my selfrespect and their quality and I chose to stand by me. I had called for a 4:30 appointment and I was asked to come by 5:30. I reached the salon at 5:25. Generally they make me wait for 15-30 mins before they attend me. But I used to ignore that and I used to plan my day taking into account of their wartimes. Today the lady called me in as soon as I reached there and started with my nails. After 10 mins a customer walked in and the lady who was attending me went to talk to her. But I heard loud and clear that she did not have an appointment. Later the lady came to me and told that she would clean up my nails but I have to wait until another lady gets my nail done. I could not do anything as my nails were half done. She asked me to wait at 5:50 and took care of the other customer. I am still figuring out the reason why she took another customer over me when I was the first one who came in for a 5:30 appointment. I waited until 6:30 and there was no signs of any other folks getting free. By that time another customer walked in for 6:30 appointment and suddenly a manicure lady came from Inside and attended her. That’s when I lost my patience and I asked them, how long should I wait. The excuses they gave was all weird, that all those folks who came in are their customers! That made me think, we’re they servicing me for free??? I tip 20% of the service charge every time and they do not consider me as their customer??? Then another manicure lady, who is fluent in English gave me her explanation, rudely, that they do not know about the appointments and it’s their owner Zuki doing it. My question to her was simple. I understand they were understaffed. They knew it the moment I walked in. Then why did they start with my nails? I was forced to wait because my nails were half done. I could not leave the place. To me it was a racial discrimination, as the folks they were taking in was either from their country or Americans. I am from Indian origin and it was a hard hit on my dignity and self respect, when they even thought that they could treat me like this. This was the red flag I mentioned earlier. It was too obvious to ignore this time. I left from there with my half done nais and now figuring out how would I get my nails done before i go to work tomorrow. Go ahead if you think, it’s just another day, until you get to face this...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but after giving this salon multiple chances, I feel I need to warn others.
I kept going back because I wanted to be fair, but each time I left disappointed or disrespected. My first visit with Coco was awful — she squeezed my fingers, hit my hand, and was very rude when I explained I had a history of nail fungus. She told me, “If your friend didn’t get fungus, you won’t.” Completely unprofessional. Funny enough, the second time she didn’t squeeze or hit me anymore — maybe she realized I always tip 25% or more.
I then tried Jenny. While her work was okay, she constantly complained about how “difficult” my nails were and pressured me to get extensions even though I already had long natural nails — it felt like she just wanted to charge more.
Other techs weren’t better. One took 3.5 hours; I patiently paid, tipped $20, and hated the result so much that I went back the next day and paid for a full new set again (still tipping $20). Another set cost me over $100 and broke in just two days.
I also noticed that when I switched techs (because my schedule is very tight), they clearly didn’t like it. Every time I came back, they acted like they’d never seen me before, which was almost funny — but also unprofessional.
After that, I gave my nails a month-long break and decided to try again. When I called, the owner Suki first scheduled me with Coco, then later claimed Coco was “booked for the whole year” (which is obviously not true). When I asked for Jenny, she finally admitted they didn’t want me as a client anymore. Instead of being upfront, they wasted my time and handled it in a shady, childish way.
My honest opinion: Coco and Jenny may be skilled, but their attitude ruins the experience. If you can handle rude comments, gossip in another language while you sit there, having your fingers squeezed and tapped impatiently, then good luck. Personally, I expect respect and professionalism when I’m paying over $100+ for nails that don’t even last.
This place is simply not worth it! I am done! As a mom and a small business owner who serves many beautiful ladies, I believe paying to get your nails done should make you feel happy — not disrespected. I’ll be warning all the moms in the area because I don’t want anyone else to feel the...
