I thought this was a great place. But once I learned the backstory I'm in love with it. Water from wine, a place where the community can gather and enjoy great wine while proceeds go to support clean water projects around the world. Brilliant! The wine is delicious. The staff is amazing and treats you like an old friend visiting for a party. The atmosphere is crisp and trendy author being pretentious. You'll love the velvet seats! I've made it there for live music from local artists and other community events they are holding. Come for the wine. Stay for the love. PS don't forget to order a charcuterie tray. They are delicious.

The tasting was nice. The hostess was knowledgeable and enjoyed the story of their wines. I bought 3 bottles which I was excited to take home and share with my guests. All 3 they gave me were bad almost tasted rotten.

As I was strolling in downtown Tacoma, I noticed "Water from Wine" and my curiosity perked and I walked in to try their wines. The hostess Anna Lee was very cordial and welcoming and listed several choices and I chose their vertical tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon. The vertical tasting of cabernet was a delightful experience and here are my tasting notes: 2018 Cab: Peppery on the nose, delightfully fruity mouth feel, though a young grape, it is mature and fruity on the back pallet. 2017 Cab: Smokey on the front pallet, smoky tannins on the mid pallet and a smoky cedar finish. 2016 Cab: Mature and luscious tannins, burst of black berries with a smooth mouth feel 2015 Cab: Beautiful fruits bursting with mature and smooth tannins, soft, soothing long finish, an excellent portrayal of Bordeaux style cabernet! The hostess surprised me with a tasting of 2019 Syrah! This Syrah was delicious with hints of black pepper, anise and cloves with luscious black fruit and a long lingering finish..... This was a wonderful experience and I will be back again to the world of...

We did the Cabernet Sauvignon (Cab Sauv) vertical tasting. 2019 down to 2014... yes, SIX WINES! We've done about 10 verticals, and this one blows the rest out of the water! The same vines, the same vintner, the same wine master.. you get to taste what Nature and Time have changed. Anna Lees commentary and tasting notes have added to my love for wine and my understanding of why I like what I like. This is a must for anybody that likes wine, wants to like wine, or has ever heard of wine! Honestly, this will be info and experience that will stick with...
