I want to give negative stars if I could. I ordered a yogurt smoothie with tapioca and there were so many things wrong with it. The tapioca tasted old; slimy on the outside and stiff on the inside. I actually had to spit it out because it was so unpleasant. A huge red flag for any bubble tea store to be honest. The yogurt smoothie was so watered down, the ice wasn't crushed completely and it lacked creaminess. Also the flavor left a terrible after taste. I was expecting something along the lines of calpico but I honestly have no clue what's up with the flavor.

Read moreI ordered the House Coffee with salted cheese, no ice. As someone who genuinely enjoys Vietnamese coffee, my drink tasted like watered-down G7 instant coffee. At $6.89, it felt overpriced for the quality.
When I asked about a refund, I was told they don’t offer them. The employee was kind and offered to remake the drink using their drip coffee option, which I appreciated. It was then I learned that their other coffee uses actual drip coffee- something that isn’t clearly disclosed. Unfortunately, the second drink still tasted diluted and was ultimately not enjoyable, so I ended up tossing it.

The staff are friendly and kept smiles on their faces during the huge rush of opening weekend! I enjoyed a Lychee milk tea with tapioca (50% sugar & ice), my coworker had Strawberry Milk Tea, and a Matcha Latte with Tapioca for our boss! I was back the next day to try more and got the Taro Milk Tea with Tapioca and the Chocolate Bubble Waffle with Puff Cream to dip in. Everything was yummy and I can't wait to try more...
