Children's play area which is meant for kids exactly 42", yes, inches, not feet, and it's rules include no rough housing, etc is NOT what a lot of these reviews describe. If you had an infant or a toddler, like i do, this would be the honest review. I have only come here a couple times where I've been for a short duration of 20-45 minutes and not feared for my child's life. He is 21 months old. The parent's bring their kids here and think they can check out completely and on more than one occasion with 100% certainty I have witnessed children abandoned here so mother's can go high end shopping for prolonged periods leaving their kids to do whatever they want and cause danger to others. I saw a mother leave a child for over an hour+ unattended and return with paper bags from the surrounding shops. Then yesterday I witnessed an older child who was past the appropriate limit to be allowed here abandoned, approx 12 years old at least, and complex case of Downs syndrome. He was non communicative and could not even describe to security what his name is, how he got here, where his parents are -- nothing. He also hit a 2 year old of the woman sitting next to me so hard the child never got up from the mother's lap again and they left. The mother was located but probably a slap on the wrist while she nonchalantly from the outer fence of play area told her son to come immediately to her. Colorful various shopping bags in her hand of course. This area is not frequented by security 8.5 to 9 out of 10 times. In fact all the times I've been here, yesterday was the only 2nd time I've ever seen a security guard within this vicinity at all. I should not have to punish my toddler by removing him because everyone else is posing a threat to him and others. Children CAN GET PARALYZED HERE. Kids bigger than myself, weighing more than myself are here jumping from 4 feet high. If something happens here, I don't care about the rules out front of playing at your own risk, TAMPA INTL WILL BE SUED! Risk means catching a flu, tumbling down, being a kid, and NOT paralysis, death, mental scarring from large kids smashing into the tiny body of a 1 yo because they're running at full speed. Here are photos to show the height violations and the...
Read moreI frequent international plaza for the quality of its vendors. I rarely have a problem there except recents when I entered this store”Predire of Paris”. It has the vibe of a pop up store. Ecerythiyis high end but salesmen remind me of the old days of Car buying. Pressure tactics at their worst. I was looking for a Valentine present for my wife and their program fit the bill; high end products and monthly facials. Heck I joined myself. My wife was considering cosmetic surgery and I felt this was a good alternative. The program was sold in pieces so I did not have a good sense of the total price. When I got home with all the products to surprise my wife, she noticed the multiple bills and totaled the program to about $15,000.00. She was not happy about this but I replied that it covered most of her products for a year and 12 upscale facials for each of us. And startyusing the products as directed in the instructions. 4 days after her face turned red and started to peel. She eventually required medical treatment and steroid treatment. I was unable to contact my salesperson as she was out of the country. Eventually , I got a consumer # who informed me that no returns were allowed. This is a scam friends . Do not fall for it like I did! I hope the management at international plaza puts a stop to this . It tarnished their reputation. A similar program under another name, is functioning at Cutrus park mall!
PS: We have repeatedly try to communicate with vendor in person, by phone, e-mail or post a review in website. All have been fruitless. I regret having to take further steps when this situation can be resolved easily between reasonable people. If no answer is forthcoming, I will be forced to escalate my actions and this will reflect badly in the Mall's...
Read moreAs if the money you spend here isn’t enough…now they have ANOTHER way to get money from you! Parking anywhere close to the Bay Street restaurants costs money. I’ve never been to a mall and had to pay to park. Oh, AND they have valet too, which is normal…but you’d THINK with the outrageous rent they charge their stores and the money they make from the valet company, they’d keep the parking the way it is…ya know, like every other mall, but NOPE!
I hope online shopping kills their revenue in the future and they fail like most other malls.
Pathetic on a whole new level!
Oh, and before you copy and paste your template response “Thank for your feedback. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience for every customer who visits our Center. While we've recently added a small number of paid, upfront spaces, we have over 6,000 free parking spaces conveniently located throughout the property, many near entrances and within shaded garages. We hope to welcome you back soon!”…not interested!
You do NOT have a “small number” of paid parking. You have hundreds of valet spots and I’d be willing to bet hundreds of spots that you charge for that are close to the restaurants. The only place you allow close parking for free is nowhere near the restaurants. That’s not “convenient” for anyone but you and the greed mentality you all live by.
Paying to park my own car at a restaurant or mall is FLAGRANT! I see the handful of other people who hate it too, and it’s only been a few weeks LOL…hopefully at your next “management” meeting, it’s on the agenda and you all can admit that it was a mistake.
I worked here in college and this place has gone SOOOOO far downhill…so again, PATHETIC. Do better. Don’t...
