I am from out of town and only have the pleasure of going to Marcolina's every couple of months when I am in the area but I can say whole heartedly that it is a work of art in of itself. Her gallery is a beautiful curation of art, culture, and found family. I was lucky enough to be in Tampa for 3 months during a summer and her Monday night art classes were my favorite part of the week. Getting to build community through not only these classes, but every event that Marcolina's hosts and creates is a gift not many of us are able to find in our daily lives.
